how did you set a key for adding a locator?

Go to the right corner of the key while you are in arrangement mode and click “Key” (or use Command-K). Certain parts of the screen will turn orange. Look for the “Set” button over the track names. I enjoyed the video a lot, it’s been so helpful. I did have a question tho. Do you have to do this for every mp3 you drag into ableton or is there a way that when you drag in the mp3, the markers pop up automatically?

I work in ableton 11, can i also change the color of the marker itself, i see its in black . I believe in an earlier version the marker was in white color? i like that more, for me its more visual on the grids in the arrangement view,can that be changed?🤔🙂

TIP for tutrials, take your time and teach. There is the chords that go up chromatically right after the 1 or DMaj that then cuts, and the next movements come in. You taught them all together, where this is video and audio, you can break down chords that alternate in easier for beginners who don't play full chords like that. I was just popping in because I was sent this song to brush up on, and the specific movements your are teaching I wanted to slow down and pick apart. Plus you'll probably get a way longer watch time supporting KZbins algorithm as well. Win WIn. for everyone. Thank you for dropping this one 3 yrs ago. Its still played so if I were you'd I drop an extended version of this vid and relink it. Be blessed.

It was worth it! There is a function in reaper which is Region/Mark Maneger (it shows all locator tags in a list in order) that is in the View tab, would this function be available in Ableton Live? Thanks dude
