Biggest mistake of this story or at least the movies. She had real chemistry with Gale. It’s like watching her marry her brother with Peeta. I blocked it from my memory and was disappointed again when I rewatched the movies. 😂

Every time I see the scene it irks me to no end. There was no possible way Dawn shot her at that angle! if her gun would have gone off, it would have went under her jaw and through the top of her head. It would not have struck her high in the forehead then straight out the back. She would have had to put the muzzle flush against her forehead for that shot. SMFH!

If Gale was not part of the plan in the bombing then he would say no. But instead, he said he wasn't sure. It's difficult for Katniss to not think of Gale differently after this, but it is also unfair that Gale has helped Katniss's family so much when she was away but they eventually end up like this...

First of all, he killed all of those innocent children. Even though they were the capitol's children, they were still innocent and young. I feel bad for Prim, and the way she died and how Gale was really sorry. But was he really sorry when he was told to kill all of those children? He could've said no.

@@sham3199 he did the bomb for the capitol to kill them , he programm the bomb, because of this katniss thinks its his fault and i think she is right ,when she ask him about it he said i dont know and that hurt her the most because he never takes responsability for his actions , they can be friends but family is first always , he help her at first but her sister was the person she loved the most so i understand that she is mad at him, he kill the person that she always wanted to protect and save and when he did that, he broke her completly i mean in this case friendship is never worth it , because after this it's impossible that she trusted him again ( my opinion dont hate me)

i mean, her and peeta were going to end up together romantically, and i never liked how gale made her feel guilty about the romance act and when it turned into real love, and made her feel guilty about not feeling the same way about him that he feels for her. but it is really sad that their family-like relationship changed so much in mockingjay. their views on the war were so different and his were so costly to her. it’s tragic, but shows how hardship and massive change can rip any two people apart. at the end of the day, they disagreed on something so engraved in their personas. at least they each found a good life individually as unfortunate as it is that lifetime friends grew apart.

Gale had every right to feel the way he did about katiness and peeta . He was in a relationship with her and she was kissing another guy ? How do you expect him to feel and on top of that he’s having to watch it on tv while he’s at home protecting her sister and mom . katniss knew she felt stronger for Peeta but kept Gale around and didn’t give him a definitive answer until the last movie and last scene we saw of them

@@About36Greekss What do you mean a relationship? Katniss was never in a relationship with Gale. He can feel jealous, but he didn't need to constantly pressure her into loving him and make her feel guilty for having feelings for Peeta.

I was really upset because through the whole story line, they were such amazing friends. I thought they were really cute together ( personally ), but I didn’t like how Gale wanted to kill the capitol people. I was OBSESSED with their relationship and it killed me when things ended like this.

I felt bad for him especially when Prim died. Gale cared for Prim almost as much as Katniss. If Katniss were to die he would have cared for Prim as a little sister. He didn’t mean to kill her or for her to die on his hand. Imagine the guilt he felt, and if that weren’t enough, his childhood best friend and the love of his life chose another guy over him and moved on.

taylor stevenson no they wouldn’t have been together. it was always going to be peeta. in the book katniss says “but his arms are there to comfort me. and eventually his lips. on the night i feel that thing again, that hunger that overtook me on the beach, i know this would have happened anyway. that what i need to survive is not gales fire, kindled with rage and hatred. i have plenty of fire myself. what i need is the dandelion in the spring. the bright yellow that means rebirth instead of destruction. the promise that life can go on, no matter how bad our losses. that it can be good again. and only peeta can give me that. so after, when he whispers, ‘you love me. real or not real?’ i tell him, ‘real.’” so it never would’ve been gale anyways.

well he treated her with kindness, but then made her feel guilty for falling in love with another boy. love isnt about wishing the person you love was lonely and without love just so you can have a chance with them. it's about wishing them all the happiness in the world even if it's not you who gives it to them.

I always thought they made such a great couple even though it was pretty obvious that Jake's feelings for Alicia were deeper than hers were for him. Such an underrated couple. It's nice to finally see someone give them the credit they deserve.

Yeah honestly it’s so sad that they didn’t get the chance for the relationship to grow properly! Honestly if he had saved her from the pantry I think she would have finally realised how great of a man he was for her. Though I think she did realise when he went off to find his brother!
