Question can you do a drone video over or near the 3 radio towers of WPTF on East Chatham Street in Cary?

I checked with the Town of Cary about any restrictions on drones and they said there were no restrictions as long as you abide by FAA rules and regulations! With that being said, I don’t know if flying close to radio towers is permitted or not.

Cultural expressions are always beautiful! I have witnessed dancing like this in Mexico City & it is powerful! They do allow drones in Harris Lake County Park. Form their website: Drones/RC Vehicles/Model Rockets The use of Unmanned Aircraft (Drones), Remote Control Vehicles and Model Rockets is allowed, subject to these regulations .

So as you approached the water tower, were you getting connection warnings? I live in a similar environment and am cautiously exploring the limits of this drone.

No, no warnings. However I’ve noticed that after going over 1000 feet away the radio control signal fluctuates. Not sure if it’s due to the many trees in my area or what.
