Ouugh, my heart... @~@ I love the additional touch of Maria sort of paraphrasing You Can Do Anything from Sonic CD here. Actually, it reminds me of how the Japanese manual for Sonic CD did something similar, having Sonic say something along the lines of ''It's okay! With courage, I can do anything!''. In fact, I saw someone on Twitter suggest that Sonic could be a reincarnation of Maria a while ago; she loved the Earth, and it's very fitting that she would be reincarnated as someone as free-spirited as Sonic. It might not be what they were going for here, but I can't help but wonder if this gives more credence to that harmless fan theory...

@11:12 I love how Shadow was quick to apologize to Maria and still gave an attitude when apologizing to Abraham 😂. I'm glad the the scene was taken out though. The final version is perfect. I do love that he took Maria with him when the ARK was under attack. How sweet.

I have the PS5 version, so I saw it there first. It's a nice little bit. But I would not recommend getting a PS4 or PS5 for this, that's for sure. If you HAVE the console, then it won't hurt to have it. But if I didn't have a PS5, I wouldn't get one for this.

Wish they kept all the deleted scenes!!! Of course, the animatic for the deleted scene where Shadow has a flashback of being with Maria--This one was sweet, but I prefer the one we were given---Casey Lee went CRAZY on the vocals!! Thanks for this; I'm a Switch owner, so I didn't get the benefit of seeing this! My brother has a PS5, but he didn't want to show me lol.

It's not their video and they mention as much in the description. The original KZbin uploader, udoragon, had their account nuked a few years ago. I actually added in English subtitles to it back when community summitted captions were a thing. If you want more of their work, they made a new account here on KZbin about 6 years ago under the name うどらごん
