for the switch function you used, the reason we didn't get our desired result is because we did this "WeekType", SWITCH( TRUE(), WEEKDAY([Date])=7,"Weekend", WEEKDAY([Date])=6,"Weekend", "weekday") instead of this "WeekType", SWITCH( TRUE(), WEEKDAY([Date],2)=7,"Weekend", WEEKDAY([Date],2)=6,"Weekend", "weekday") we didn't add the ,2 in the weekday function thats why we got the error

one comment, i notice that power bi does not accept factsales , so i abbreviated it to fct sales which works fine.it looks like fact is reserved command of power bi ?

You can search the Internet for any industry data you have in mind. If you are good at prompt engineering you can create any type of data using GPT though, you will need to have GPT4 or 4o premium
