I loved the suggestion about reading sermons of individual prophets and looking for themes. Sometimes I forget that prophets from the scriptures are similar to our modern prophets in many ways.

I am obsessed with improving my study and getting more out of it, and the last few years have been a struggle especially in finding new ways to study. It seems like techniques/advice from church sources is very surface level advice. I actually started following a few evangelical KZbinrs and applying how they study the Bible, to my study of the scriptures. With that said, this is the first video I’ve seen from a member of our faith that’s been filled with great insight on how to get more from your study. Thank you for putting it together and I hope to hear more!

What an amazing facility! I was involved in a couple of ensembles in the HFAC in my day, so I was sad to see it go, but the new Music Building is world-class!

Are there any recent updates about Damian. I think of him often and know time is against him. IS he still with us or was it his time to leave. Can we get an update?

Ave Maria is otherworldly when listened to live in a quality setting. Beautiful and practical new spaces. the HFAC was a warren of passeges and rooms that just sort of grew over time almost. The new building looks beautiful and so much more functional.

Oh wow, a friend posted this on Facebook. It was great to see and hear from you again Professor Rosenberg. It has been 30 years I think. You are an incredible professor at BYU and it was so exciting to go to Spain and soak everything up. I ended up being a special ed teacher for 23 years at a 97% Hispanic school here in California. It was such a joy to use my Spanish daily with parents, and with a few at the younger children in the bilingual program. Spain is truly the country of my soul and always will be some serving a mission there. Thank you again it was really wonderful to hear from you. I hope you and your family are well.

I can't even begin to fathom the hardship this woman and her children endured. Reminds me of the book "Endurance, Shackleton's Incredible Voyage" combined with a mother's love for her son and the power of knowledge. What gets me is that we now know what is an element, that it's composed of a nucleus with protons and neutrons, surrounded by electrons, and we pretty much take this for granted.

@@byumagazine Thank you, Denya, for your excellent words in the Insta Classics article. It was so concise, warm, and to the point, so much that I was inspired to Google Savannah's work. I particularly like that you wrote about spending a lot of time in practice rooms by ourselves, which I did myself in the 1970s, and also indirectly suggesting how to avoid all that loneliness via creative ways that require less pressure. I also damaged my left thumb via concert performance. So your words encourage me to not stop practicing the piano. I treasure all the encouragement in articles like yours and in quality KZbins like Savannah's. Thank you!

I admire the gift of portraying special events on canvas....The Lord blesses us all with various talents. After considerable seeking, asking, and knocking, I have knowledge of the Saviour's " walk on water " . I believe if this is portrayed properly, it would result in a beautiful, spectacular image...the likes of which the world has not yet seen. HEBEL EST OMNIS ADAM

I would like to share some very special information to a great artist...regarding the Saviour's " walk on water ". This information will provide the artist with a truthful and beautiful perspective that will prove to be nothing short of enlightening....consequently resulting in a wonderful, breathtaking image of this event as it truly happened. Until now, I have shared this with no artist, and I have never seen this vital element of the truth presented in any portrayal. If truth in portrayal of sacred events is crucial to your work. Please let me know. I will be happy to share. HEBEL EST OMNIS ADAM
