I remember going in the ultimate back in the day, great ride. I can’t believe that the hall of mirrors is literally a room full of mirrors, I at least thought that this would be a mirror maze, how is this even an attraction? Lightwater valley you should be ashamed.

I dont understand all the negativity i think it will be a great addition to alton towers if im honest , no one says talocan is crap so why would this be , its a good theme and its different , good flats are just as important as coasters in my opinion , will be interesting to actually see it in person to have full thoughts on the area n location to see if it fits but im sure it will

I'm all for this! I absolutely love Talocan so the fact we're getting the exact same model here in the UK is an absolute win in my eyes!! Loads of re-rides will be happening this year, mark my words!!! ;-)

Its a flat ride...cant believe all the hype...shows how high we aim in this country.they will definitely have it on theme park settings too .

Great comment. The hype about a flat ride that is just a near exact replacement of what was there for years is just a bit OTT. Alton Towers has gone so fatmr downhill. 😢 Universal will wipe the floor with it if they proceed with their UK plans.

@AudreyMealiff yes thanks audreymealiff for this comment,another person that speaks sense and does not wear blinkers when it comes to alton towers...bit late now but how did zadra and hyperion treat you..mind blown?..made me realise how poorly treat we are over here after my visit and rides(I think we went same time last year.we probably walked past one another and did not even realise😁)

@timduncan9745 Zadra was amazing, hard to describe what an absolute experience it was. Hyperion also was a very fun ride. Energylandia is a bit of a mixed bag but Zadra is the king and I would love to go back. How did you find it. Phantasialand and Europa Park are where it's at for theming and magic and immersion, in my opinion, the Germans know what they are doing. I'm Irish, and so we just have the one park that is trying to pull up it's game with theming. It has a ways to go of course but we are delighted to have a decent park finally. I think UK parks are not looking after guests at all, for example with the stupidly short opening hours. Then the crap overpriced food (Aramark), and poor ride availability. My biggest issue this year was Hyperia, what a stunning aggressive beast of a ride, but why did they cut it in half first of all, then secondly the theming is poor and unfinished (rusty splashdown), it could have been so much more.

@@timduncan9745 The UK is sooooo far behind it's unreal! 2024 really opened my eyes to that after having visited as many European parks as I did!! Really hoping Universal coming to the UK will change that in the years ahead as Merlin are far too comfortable making minimal effort and reaping the profits as far as I'm concerned.

If it runs the same cycle as Talocan we're in for something special, but interestingly this has half the ride throughput of Talocan which I can't quite understand. Longer cycle?
