I bought one in November 2023. The SD card would not work without a SIM card. I got a SIM thru my carrier at the time (T-Mobile). When I switched carriers to AT&T, they could not provide a working SIM. I stayed with T-Mobile, but eventually, the tablet failed. T-Mobile sent a new SIM, and it works. But they say the tablet is "locked" and will eventually fail again. Has anyone encountered this? Can the OT5 be "unlocked"?

The mic is pretty standard, clear sounding. not the one im using here. if you are recording a stream i would use an external mic but for casual gaming its perfect

Hey Josh, do you know if it's UL-certified? I purchased one of these during Amazon Prime Day, but I'm concerned about its long-term reliability and potential hazard (if too many devices are plugged in, it could either damage the battery of my expensive products or simply cause a fire) as it didn't mention any UL- or CB-like certifications on the product page. Although I snagged it for cheap, I'm just now re-considering the purchase as it seems to be too good to be true at such a low price. Thanks bro

Hey man! It says UL approved, I don’t see anything that says certified but I messaged the seller to find out. I’ve been using it for over a year now with usb and powered devices plugged in and no issues to date. Also I haven’t turned the switch off in over a year as well with no issues. Hope that helps and if the seller messages me back I’ll comment again here.

Do you keep it plugged in all the time with camera powered on. My ram truck power outlet has constant power so if I don’t power down camera it stays on. Do I need to turn camera off and on when getting in and out of car?? This instruct manual doesn’t explain shit except features

My car doesn’t have constant power so mines turns off but if you want the 24/7 surveillance, I would keep it on. If not power it off. That part is a pain if you dont want 24/7 recording and have to turn it on and off.
