Thanks for this. Very helpful. I bought this bike almost 2 years ago and I'm just now unboxing it and learning about it. 😁 Your channel has been a big help.

Great job! Did you keep this system separate from the charging of the batteries from when you are plugged into the tow vehicle? Similarly, if you have a DC to AC battery charger when hooked into shore power, is that system isolated from your solar system? Thanks for your feedback in advance!

Don't know if I should be covering my AC units. I have a heat pump in my '22 Montana in addition to the propane heater.
@jimhansel1503Күн бұрын
@Tsch6373 If you have a heat pump you will be using, I would not cover that one as it needs the air flow.

first time diesel owner here , just curious how did DEF fluid get into your fuel tank ? I haven't had to fill up DEF tank yet but I don't want to make that mistake myself .
@Jimmy2Tech5 күн бұрын
Pretty much had a lot of things going on and in a hurry and did not pay enough attention. This was the first time we ever put DEF in with the truck running. Just a series of unfortunate events.

*you can also check the electrode placement and gap, which should be 1/8”
@stronger_now23k117 күн бұрын
The one other thing it can be, which happened to be the case with mine, is the ‘Furnace Solenoid Gas Valve’. On my unit, SF-35VHFQ, everything worked until ignition. Electrode would spark, but never got flame. The brass orifice was not clogged, directing the problem to the valve. Gas valve did not have the proper pressure to send correct propane specification through to the burner. You can test for a bad gas valve solenoid(s) with a multi meter and you can check the gas valve pressure with a manometer.

Ours ended up being a collapsed propane hose at the tank.

I hope you guys see this. I've had a heck of a time with a couple of different LED bulbs (major sellers) on my 2015 F150, with regard to stuffing in the crap that goes in last, after you've installed the bulbs. It's really tough to get everything in AND get the dust covers to seal again. The bulbs I'm running now, I've got adjusted as low as I can but all the stuff for the bulb installation is in the way, I guess, and I keep getting flashed. I CANNOT GO ANY LOWER. Looking at your installation of the Auxito bulbs, it looks like the stuff tucks in fairly easily. Are you able to max down the beam adjustment? Is there enough room to get the dust covers back on? (You weren't able to show the low-beam installation, which I understand by -- been there, done that.) I, too, do the wheel-turning thing; I have a 'serious' grill guard on the front, so turning the wheels is my only option.) Anyway, please give me a few more details on how it went getting everything into the low-beam socket... and are you still pleased? Have they burned out 'early' or anything?
@Jimmy2Tech8 күн бұрын
We were able to tuck everything in there pretty easy but it was a real pain putting the dust covers back on. We have since put in different Auxito bulbs that fit way better and the dust covers fit like they should.

No i did not wait 24 hours, I forgot what the instructions said to wait between coats but I did that. It was not to long just had to let it tack up.

Apreciate the video follow up. Does this battery have an on/off switch? I think that a battery should have a power on / off switch and an indicator display that lets the owner know that the battery is on. Safety is the issue. I was disconnecting the motor wires when I arched the Field and the Armature connection with the wrench. I have a push button on/off switch on my lithium battery but no indicator that it is on / off. The remote mounted meter won't help becaue it reads the internal battery and not the voltage at the battery terminals. I intend to open my battery ( it has a metal case with screws around cover) to install a LED on the outside of the battery so that any one would know that the battery has power at the terminals..
@Jimmy2Tech5 күн бұрын
No this one does not have an on/off button. That is one of the feature I wish it had. We will be putting a new one in here soon that does have the on/off switch and more Ah. Look for that video soon.

TOO BAD YOU CANT SEE WHAT YOU'RE DOING SINCE UR CAMERA IS POINTED AT THE EDGE AND NOT CENTERED. FIRST, most importantly, I wanted to find out about that film and where you get it or what kind do you use? Secondly, when you said not to get it wet, it looks like you did get it wet, but I couldn't tell since your camera was only videoing on the very edge and couldn't tell what you were doing. I wish somebody would create a good video explaining where you get the film and positioning the camera appropriately!!

How were you able to flush mount the display?
@Jimmy2Tech5 күн бұрын
We just cut out the display size after we made a template and the display has a small flange that allows it to sit pretty much flush.
