It's very interesting that this Plug N Play's Sound test uses the Dig Dug sounds and music from their original Namco 5-1 plug n play rather than the one included, (but playing with the sound chip of this plug n play.)

I swear there was a game where you could walk around the museum as Pacman. (3rd person view) I've been looking online for THAT game for the past hour!! If anyone ever sees this and knows what I'm talking about... Please help!!!

I found out that the Treasure on floor 60 appears when the timer reaches 5000 (as in floor 14). It is another Dragon Potion by the way.

Stage 5's reminds me of MSX games where you absorb some cores' special weapon by getting in the center before they explode, cool feature sadly not used aside from them

It's more of a Game Collection or a Compilation tbh why calling this a Museum despite the fact it only shows you the games without the museum

There are several typos in the credits sequence. I heavily rushed making the slides for that sequence because I wanted to get it over with, and as such I didn't proofread it as well as I should've: - Super Mario 64's copyright year should be 1996, not 1997. - Gradius V's copyright year is 2004, not 1999. - While I'm not 100% sure that Nemesis '95 came out in 1995, I meant to put that down instead of 1996. And before anybody smart mentions this, I put down Mario Kart 64's copyright year as 1997 since that's when it was released in the US. Everything else should be accurate.

When you compare the presentation of this collection to the presentation of the PS1 Namco museum collections, it really makes you feel bad for the old N64.

i played gradius 3 when i was a teen 1996-ish and loved it. i played it recently in the psp "gradius collection" and discovered gradius 5 gaiden and looooved it more. i love how i can edit the order of power-ups. now, im searching for more games like this. is there a perfect one??

This looks fun, why isn't it on more Namco museum games?
@Aaron-by3ke2 ай бұрын
This was the only Namco Museum game I bought and it was because of Mappy, Dragon Buster and an emulation of Super PacMan. PacMan and Ms. PacMan on the other volumes were ports and my patterns and strategies didn't work. We didn't get proper emulation until 2004 when Namco released the 50th Anniversary Collection on PS2 and Xbox.
@eightcoins4401Ай бұрын
While not 1:1 arcade accurate, I kinda wish later versions still had the same level of presentation. I love the 3d museum world personally.

I remember finding out about this game when I was like 8 or 9 and being thoroughly freaked out at some of the bosses, ESPECIALLY the Goemon one who gets a freaky lady face on its second phase. Glad they just had him become Ebisumaru on the SS/PS1 version. Fun game either way.

nicely done. i remember getting every perfect in this game as a kid, and this one took me over a hundred attempts probably. every time i think about going for all perfects again, i remember remix 10 and change my mind 😅

It would be strange if Rally-X Arrangement appeared in this game, I think the ports for Old and New Rally-X would reuse the NMV1 Port.
