"the house with the clock in it's walls" was my favourite of these. Vincent pitching his delivery at the young viewers who are being encouraged to read books is perfect, the lovable and slightly odd and scary uncle you always look forward to visiting.

This was an Excellent video! The narrator's superb presentation, definitely did Mr. Hillman's work justice. Watching the maker standing on top of his own tiny table was the cherry on top as both unexpected as well as totally Impressive- "kids don't try this at home!"

I vaguely remember seeing this when I was 9. The Legend of Sleepy Hollow scared the hell out of me. I've been searching for it ever since with no luck. Until now. Thank you so much for posting this!

I think I watched this sometime around the late 1990s and it scared me pretty bad! Had all but forgotten about it, only remembered the horseman throwing his head and the clock ticking inside the walls. Finally found it after so many years. The story selection is pretty good and Vincent Price is his charming self. But the acting is terrible overall! Rene Auberjonois from the second segment and the child actor in the last segment are especially bad.

Good 'ol Vincent 😌!! Loved him since, I was a kid 😁!!! Just when I thought, I've seen just about every Vincent Price movie, ever made, then this!! This one slipped by me, back then, and I haven't seen it run, on cable since. This was highly entertaining, and educational, too. Check out the actor playing Ichabod. It's the same actor, from 'Benson'.

This brings back memories. I worked there, briefly, in 1993, as a springboard youth trainee in healthcare. Very spooky building. We had to go down to the basement to hand in the patient’s lunch menus and it was like something out of Nightmare on Elm Street, with the walls of the corridors lined with huge pipes. Still, some good memories. Had a huge crush on Paul from the Path lab. Wonder what ever happened to him

I am a huge fan of Vincent Price, too, and I have been one ever since the 1970s. I even had a crush on him from late 1973 to mid-1978. I loved watching his movies on television and on KZbin, and I always liked watching him on the Hollywood Squares and listening to his witty answers to the questions that he was being asked. I wish I could have met him personally while he was still alive, but I only met him in dreams that I had back in the 1970s.

Poor Tarby had to explain to his mother why he had a dirty pair of underwear for her to wash. Probably just told her that he was out someplace and had go all of a sudden and there was no bathroom nearby so he wound up having an accident in his pants. That still wouldn't explain what he was doing out in the middle of the night.

Vincent Price was probably one of the best if not the best in the world as a character actor and his style of acting was unbelievable, he could memorize not just all his lines but the person he was speaking to lines as well, he has probably the most recognized voice in horror movies R.I.P.

50:35 Vincent's trademark, ghoulish laughter - which he used to such brilliant (and lucrative) effect on Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' 4 years after this, in 1983. "BWA! HA! HA! HA! HA"

My grandmother used to live in one of the rooms in this place as a child . Sh has a picture of her and her mother outside this building in her living room . It was a bad time though . She was born in the world war 2 and the war ended when she was 11 . She said it was scary because she could here the bomber planes flying above and the thing was they never knew if they would survive. My great grandmother always told them" if we are going to die, we will all go together" :( . Sometimes when she went to school she was told one of her classmates had -had their house bombed . It would have been a horrible time . She is now 85 (doesn't look it) and is the funniest person I've ever met . Even though she has told me about the war over 100000000 times I ask her to tell me agin as it is so interesting 😂😂😂 me and my grandma are sad that this building has been destroyed as I would have loved to go there .

Absolutely devastating this building was allowed to be demolished. It says alot about the council! My father passed away here in 1992 and as I watched the video, it brought back memories good and bad. We need buildings like this. The amount of architectural features in the outside alone, surely would have shown the simpletons we should never have let it go! Would it have been too much to renovate and made into plush apartments? Mad!! However, thankyou so much for your time in making this short video. Thank you
