@monte4150 @monte4150 the sanlida is an ok bow. But needed some reworking to be a good bow for me. I worked the grip to better fit my hand and sanded down the sidplate about 1/16th inch to get closer to center shot. My wife has a "galaxy bullseye 62"" from lancaster archery and I would recommend that bow over the sanlida. Great beginner bow for a little more money. They also come in a kit but I don't have experience with the accessories. We bought just the bow. She has a 24in draw and has a 30lb bow. So the bow weight is roughly 22-23lbs. I had to go through several spine weights to find that 1400 spine easton inspire arrows work great for her. Don't believe they make that arrow anymore but I'm sure there are similar ones.

The pricing on these "budget/low-priced" bow kits is pretty unbelievable. The reviews I have seen are similar to yours: bow = good, rest of the kit, arrows, etc. is on the garbage-side. But, again, that's what you should expect. I was surprised to see 100gr (light) points which means you can't really do anything other than cut arrow length down to stiffen spine if that's what you need. What specs did you end up with, spine, arrow weight, point-weight, brace height, nock point height? Thanks. Great job on a detailed review.
@trad_root17 күн бұрын
@thomasbrissee3251 i have a 26.5in draw and ended up finding that my goldtip warrior 600 spine arrow cut 28in carbon to carbon worked best. Using 50 grain inserts and 200 grain points. Arrow total weight is 485 grains i beleive. Nocking point is 5/8ths above center and brace height is best between 8 and 8.25in on the bow i recieved. I also shaved the side plate down closer to center shot and flattened the grip some for a better hand feel. The stock grip has pressure spots on your palm after a lot of shooting which is why I flattened it.

3rd test of this kit arrows absolutely non adapted to the bow too basic equipment, only the bow is good, not extra but good i'll say for baeginners the Oak Ridge Dymond is only 20-30€ more expensive but much a long term bow
@trad_rootАй бұрын
@laurentmeiller5171 So far everyone who I've come across who wasn't sent the bow for free to do a review, all think the same about the kit. The bow is not too bad but everything else in the kit is junk. I'll have to look up the oak ridge. Don't believe I've seen that one yet.

Just got that kit yesterday, the brace measured 5.5" out of the box - 50# bow - should I still be shooting for around 8"? Great review, thank you 🙏
@trad_root4 ай бұрын
@NewLife-qj9mx I found that between 7.75" and 8" was where mine likes to be with the new string i made. The recommended brace is 7.5"--8.5" according to the website. 5.5" to me is really short. Try twisting the string up and see if you can get it closer to 7.5" at least. The supplied bowstring may just be too long. For a 60in bow the string should be around 56-57in.

I plan to fix the centershot anyways so might tiller for 3 under also and drop the 3lbs down to actual 45lbs at 28. Overall the bow isn't bad and shoots the warriors I have pretty well.

I will be cutting the fletch off of one of the kit supplied arrows and bare shafting and changing the point weights. I would like to see if i can get them to fly better with some tweaking. The idea was to see if the bow out of the box was good enough for a beginner to start with. I would recomend the bow, not so much anything else that comes in the kit.
