I dont know unconscious. I think james henry would be a better candidate. Not just because he speaks well but because he's got the support of the right guys like corey walton. He also has a 80% winning record as a arbitrator for the nalc. I like mike too but Mike's been on the executive board for 10 years now and y is he barely starting to speak up now? Also didn't like how he kinda sounds bitter of the clc. The clc hasn't spoken any ill will of mike and it just doesn't seem right. But your right any8ne but renfroe.

@ Caref is basically running for president in spite of not being elected as the CLC candidate. This can be backed up by contradictory actions and statements he has made regarding the matter. He hasn’t stated any future plans for the Union and has not put together a running ticket. All he does is bad mouth the CLC and Renfroe (his boss he has been silent about for YEARS until he decides to run for pres). Don’t fall for the song and dance. James Henry has already put together his ticket (ALL proven fighters with carriers best interest in mind) and has declared where he stands AND he’s got his boots on the ground. Go see what he did for the LA fire victims. And a slight correction brother…Caref has been at NALC headquarters WAY longer than Henry. So Caref is a part of the old guard, not Henry. Bless up and keep doing your thing.

Heres what you do 1. End the CCA craft and have ptf's from here on out. 2. End table 2 and convert table 2 carriers table 1. This way New PTF's and table 2 carriers get a decent raise. 3. 13 percent raise across the board this way maxed out carriers get a good chunk of pie too.

When he says table one he’s saying coming up with a new table one keeps your eyes 👀 meaning his table is the crap 💩 of contract we where given
@Xiatter3 күн бұрын
Considering Table 2 never should have been created and probably only was created because newer hires weren't as aware of contract stuff as we are now, it only makes sense to move everyone to Table 1. And THEN give everyone raises. And if Table 1 carriers have a problem with it, they can give current Table 2 carriers all the money we should have been making on Table 1 this whole time. 🙄

Okay, I believe it was created through arbitration, but it's still a rancid idea.

@Leonardo2003 I agree. Apparently, they were working together at one point, and when the clc selected Henry for the president role instead of Caref, he broke off. One thing I do respect about Caref is he goes back once a year and carries his route I think all the leadership, if physically capable, should do that cause they seem to forget where they came from.

As soon as we allowed them to create a table 2, it made getting rid of it in the future impossible. The best way to do this is across the board general wage increase. Rising tide lifts all boats. You young carriers will get ours too, you climb the ladder like everyone else before you.
@Bearzo233 күн бұрын
Table 2 starting pay is too low. The trajectory of wage increases doesn’t favor the worker. Cutting the time to top significantly or going back to table 1 pay scale is the only thing I think is fair. The rising tide analogy applies by bringing the bottom up more.
@Cml_173 күн бұрын
@Bearzo23 agreed. starting pay would be brought up to the level with the adjustment for inflation as well. So aprx 20% from what it was. And ya, I agree the table is long, but we not going to get everything, in fact, probably nothing close to this stuff, so 12½yrs or whatever it was we all had to do, is a concession. The pay is most important part of this imo, we have other things we can bite at in future contracts. But if we let this pay cut happen, we are in huge trouble.
@Cml_173 күн бұрын
This is the contract we need to stand on and fight. The 2026 will be based off this TA and we need to die on some of the hills. This go around we have the most leverage in the form of the past inflation rate, covid, and the full effects of Amazon realized. We can't make everyone happy agreed. And if you weren't around for all 3 mentioned above, then the next contract will built more for you.

Not one of these old school union guys is worth voting for. The only way we get a decent raise is to give something up in return. I’d convert single family walking routes to driving where possible. Carriers should get bonuses for efficiency, safety, and attendance. I think most people could support that.
@Bearzo233 күн бұрын
Interesting. My goal is to have perfect attendance for as long as possible. Things happen and don’t always go as planned, but it’s an attainable goal I set for myself. I might not be the best carrier in management’s eye, but you can count on me to be there.
