Been wanting to go back and try this shortcut

This route saves about two hours from taking Cave Creek Road. It's also a lot more fun!

I was just there today and I came from the back way. Im wonder if I can cross the river here too? It looks like it’s a lot deeper now. Any one know ?

off of Horseshoe lake rd-so instead of heading towards 7 springs hang a right towards Horseshoe lake You'll see horseshoe dam rd I believe.Follow that in (turns to dirt) follow all the way to the bottom of the hill Once you cross the first cow guard you'll see an old cow staging area on the leftTurn right here.Trail goes through the horseshoe lake run out-(crossing it twice) the 2nd can get deep about as deep as the bridge- once through follow the trail it will take you all the way to the bridge
