Haven’t played this game because I been pursuing my passion for swimming & I really want to beat my records, get a new wr. I’ll probably be back to speedrunning by the end of this month or somewhere around February. Pc version is very broken because of the loading times & weird physics we’ve discovered. If you plan on playing on the pc version, highly recommended using a controller because the controls on keyboard sucks.

@@verysmuggy the way I got the pc version was through this website www.old-games.com/getfile/16904 You’ll have to pay $8 to get the file, other than that you should be good. There are other sketchy websites that claims to have a copy of the game but it’s most likely virus files. This is the only safe method to get the pc version without any viruses.

Sorry about that. Shooting projectiles as soon as you finish makes loading times somewhat faster.

Same here, I feel like I must of gotten a WR 10 years ago when I was much younger but didn’t realized it. This game really taught me a lot about speedrunning

Because there were a few videos on this game, I’ve decided to start speedrunning this game because it was one of my best childhood game I knew very well. I planned to comeback speedrunning this game again anytime soon. About the firing the tracker constantly in the beginning of the run. Doesn’t do anything. I just like to spam it lol. I don’t think spamming the tracker helps in anyway.

It’s possible but it’s VERY difficult. It’s not worth trying because shooting the emp from where the first panel is will make the emp disappear because it’s out of range. This is the only video I have doing it kzbin.info/www/bejne/pJ62foaCnNuej7M

Thank you. I also take breaks from the game from time to time and I forget to recognize the level’s “layout.” I’ve also experienced some teleportation glitches that I’ve encountered when recording a run. I have a playlist that has those encountered glitches.

Slow down as soon as you touch the ramp but don’t go on complete stop

The only way I know that is safe and legal to get the pc version is to buy it off this website called Old-Games.com It cost around $8 to access the file to download it

@@sh0wy._ I've heard the paywall wasn't as bad long ago, something about having free downloads with slower speeds and only being able to download 2 games per day

Thanks 👍 What I like about this version is the “sticky road.” In other version, you lose speed when going on any slope. But in this case, you don’t lose any speed from the ramps & slopes at all.

@@Saturn185 the only problem is that I would have to use keyboard for pc since non of my controllers I have are detected on the pc version. I have no problem playing on keyboard but when doing the barrel obstacle, It won’t be driving smooth unlike on controller. But I’ll see what I can get from this level for the meantime.

@@sh0wy._ what controller do you use for emulators?

@@Saturn185 i use a ps5 controller (wired) and a wireless gamecube controller. Both aren’t detectable on the pc version :(

@@Saturn185 oh god, that level! That run is so perfect that I can’t even tie your record. The lowest I’ve gotten was 2:49. What makes it difficult is the shortcut where you go between the barrel to the finish line.

@@Saturn185 that must of been insane, plus that shortcut is a huge time saver. It saves about ~25 seconds.
