i randomly starting getting ringing in my left ear yesterday, i don’t know if it’s tinnitus because i haven’t gotten it diagnosed yet. but high frequency sounds, for example, unlocking my car and it doing a little beep, the microwave going off, my phone dinging at a text message ect. all sound different and more high pitched. that’s what’s really been bothering me, trying to pop my ear doesn’t work, i’ve really been freaking out, getting bad anxiety over it all day today. i’m really scaring myself and i just wish i had decent health insurance to get it checked. it could just be earwax buildup, im not sure. you’re all so brave for accepting living with tinnitus, me? i’m truly, truly terrified, it feels like a drastic life change and i can’t comprehend in my mind how my life is going to go if it is tinnitus. i really pray it’s not, i always have god. and again, you’re all brave for dealing with it for as long as you have. god bless you.

Hello everyone I’m from Philadelphia. I am so happy today because I am free from Tinnitus. I have been dealing with this problem for the past two years, and I have passed through different processes in getting cured from it, but nothing was working out. A friend of mine introduced me to Herbal Health Doctor called DR ALAHO OLU, who sent me a Tinnitus herbal remedy and my life got transformed and everything is fine and ok with me…….

I’m in the process of being diagnosed with Ménière's disease yet to get a straight answer more or less it’s tinnitus, Vertigo and hearing loss all in one lil package and I have no clue how I ended up getting it but we move lucky only in the one ear as of now the ringing is bad but when the vertigo attack starts on top of the tinnitus it’s horrible can’t move it’s as if you forgot how to balance you feel helpless tbh I keep thinking about how my camera operating career is over since having good balance is a must but I’m not gonna let it stop me. All it takes is work and patience

I've had constant loud tinnitus for 28 years ever since my scoliosis operation. Nothing stops it. It's a struggle from the moment I wake up but on the bright side at least I can hear, I'm grateful for that.

Hey. I got it 3 weeks ago and it's been very difficult. I think it's lower slightly in volume so I'm hoping it's started to calm down or that im slowly getting used to it. Long walks and distractions has helped me. I've played alot of diner dash on my phone as it keeps my brain occupied. I hope you can find moments of relaxation.
@evre288110 күн бұрын
@ thanks. I’m sorry to hear you’re going through it. I’ve had it a few months now and hate it. Yeah, doing stuff and staying distracted is how you keep it from irritating you or giving you anxiety . Showers and the windows down while I’m driving drown it out. Talking to people like you who also have it helps me out a lot. Is it irritating you less as more time goes by? Are you talking to anyone about it?

@evre2881 only my husband who has had tinnitus for 20 years and is well habituated to it. He keeps reassuring me. I also found this app called 'Oto'. It's an expensive app, bit im trying the 7 day free trial at the moment and so far it's helping me a lot! I've started playing the program and the narrators voice is really helping my anxiety attacks at the moment, which i have had many. Souch I think i will pay for the app for a few months. Still Lot cheaper than going to see someone, which I can't afford at the moment. What type of noise do you have? (It's ok if you don't want to answer) I have a white noise kind of none tonal, and occasionally there is a very high frequency tonal sound too. Its on my left ear only. Im also trying to just sit with it in a quiet room when I have a moment. I think it's helping my unconscious brain's fear towards it (not sure yet) It's all very new to me, I'm still hoping it will get more quiet and go away..

It all depends on the level of damage if you can live with it or not. Tinnitus, Hyperacusis, Noxacusis has no limit. If auditory system gets damaged enough anyone that gets it damaged extremely bad will off themselves . So ...be careful and avoid all further noise exposures and meds.

== LYRICS == There's a song inside of me, And it murmers restlessly, Beneath the sounds of the world around me. Always present in my mind, It sings to me all the time, A mournful song with no melody. Should I sing it out? Would it free me? This song is hard to understand, It can be loud as a brass band, Or quiet as one grain of sand. It gets jealous when I hear, The sounds outside my ears, It wants to sing out clear. Should I sing it out? Would it free me?

Thank you for this incredible video. It radiates hope. I am 36, I've had tinnitus for 20 years after a friend popped a balloon next to my ear. I have had multiple ups and downs along the way. Moments of despair and fear for the future. But I know that it can absolutely be lived with, as Isobel says it takes time and an adjustment of emotion towards it. I am currently going through an extended spike of ringing which has thrust me back into the retraining stages. Of which I think stress and anxiety I think is playing a part. And it's forcing me to look deeper into tinnitus than I have in the past. I wish I came across this video years ago. I know I've achieved peace before, which helps to know it's achievable again. Thanks again Isobel.

I've had tinnitus for many years. I hear 7 pitches at all times. If I focus on it, it's unbearable. A trapped feeling. Nowhere to escape. The only thing I can do is accept it. Observe and then get on with my life. I have a few chronic illnesses I'm dealing with. Frankly, tinnitus is the LEAST of my problems. Anyway, get on with your lives. Ringing and all.

I’ve had it for years on and off after d j ing and a hyper stressful period. This is a great video. Take on board everything she says. Mediation is the key for me as gradually it takes away the brain’s angst about the noise. I can hear it now as I’ve just done some hoovering but I know it will die down again - at the beginning you are on full alert constantly. It’s your brain not your ears. Sooth and relax your mind as much as possible.

Anyone here who's cause has been temporomandibular joint dysfunction DTMJ, I've had tinnitus on my left ear and the feeling of fullness for a month and a half because of it, I went to some ear specialist and discarded hearing causes, I started treatment a few days ago after having discovered the DTMJ cause by a maxillofacial doctor, the treatment consists of an occlusal guard and laser therapies, I have read testimonies from people whose tinnitus appeared for the same reason and say that theirs improved... I do not lose faith and hope
