Peter Farrar:- Percy Faith's arrangement with his cascading dominating lush string section's superb orchestra creating an outstanding performance, with Rimsky Korsakov's best composition, with Eastern influence, the most beautiful classical music, "Song Of India," from the opera Sadko, will invade the tender hearts & minds of everyone forever & a day. Flamboyant & poetic words paying tribute to a music genius Rimsky Korsakov, who created shangri-la with this unforgettable music. Thank you 65 seaon for presenting this beautiful video. Words by Peter E. Farrar.

We sang this song when I was in the Seminary for the bday of the late Cardinal Santos. And he liked it very much that he started inviting us to sing when he has visitors from Vatican coming to Villa San Miguel.

I'LL BE SEEING YOU -- by Sammy Fain, the lyrics by Irving Kahal in 1938. It became a huge hit in WWII, when our boys were leaving to go off and fight in WWII, hoping they would return to see their loved ones again: Intro: Cathedral bells were tolling, and our hearts sang on, was it the spell of caring, or the April dawn, who knows if we shall meet again, but when the morning chimes ring sweet again: I’ll be seeing you in all the old familiar places that this heart of mine embraces all day through, In a small café, the park across the way, the children’s carousel, the chestnut tree, the wishing well, I’ll be seeing you in every lovely summer’s day, in everything that’s light and gay I'll always think of you that way, I'll find you in the morning sun, and when the night is new, I'll be looking at the moon, but I'll be seeing you.

One of the best singers of the 20th century, I learned to like him in the 1960's and he was in peak form on this beautiful song, which did justice to Natalie Wood and Steve McQueen in the 1963 movie of the same title of this song, who are no longer with us. We lost Jack Jones, who died on October 23, 2024, at the age of 86, after suffering from leukemia for about two years. Another great one gone from that era. RIP, JJ, and thanks for the years of great songs that you left for us.

Bobby Goldsboro's original recording is gorgeous and I wish an instrumental mix of that recording existed. But this is pretty arrangement of the song.

My beautiful mother, Kelly Winton, died 9/11/1993. My life without her is so, so different, it is as if I still expect to see her sitting in a chair, her chair, smiling and asking me for something from the kitchen. Always missing you, Mom but I’ll be seeing you soon.

She won’t remember but many years ago (I’m now 79), I wrote to K D Lang when she made her first LP. I told her she had the silkiest, most gorgeous voice I had ever heard. She was gracious enough to write back to thank me. All these years later she still has the most beautiful voice ever.
