Wht I love about Neil Fallon is that the guys is an absolute monster when it comes to lyricism. Guy has a degree in english literature. In some songs, you can really see it. But in some other songs he will just babble and ryhme the dumbest words for shits and giggles. This is one of those that have some strong depth though.

Even though I own a physical copy I've only been able to get through the film these clips were taken from once. It was a great movie but I can't say I was entertained by it. Something about it made me feel...off. Great writing, great acting absolutely beautiful cinematography, but darnn it just sucks all the hope out of you. I'd say it's a piece of art rather than entertainment, the difference being art is an expression of the creator's vision that doesn't care how you feel about it, while the primary purpose of entertainment is to...well...entertain you, and as such may make compromises, not that it has to, it just can. Actual art doesn't ever do that. The artist doesn't care if everyone hates it, in fact that may be the purpose. Art is meant to communicate and provoke emotion.

Okay so just my opinion, but I dont think anyone ever has explained it better, through lyrics nor music, just how "meaningless" your life can be once you're gone. You're gone and that's it. Life goes on for the living. As long as you're a memory even, your image and all of your life might just remain a retold story which distorts more and more as the years go by, until you are completely forgotten. To me, these guys pretty much explain the concept of time with this song. I dont think I'll ever love any song more than this one.
