$70k+, plus deal mark ups of $5-25k, 215 miles of real world range, VW's notoriously horrific software, sketchy charging networks, not Tesla fast charger compatible, First model year - so there are going to be issues after issues and inexperienced VW techs. All these factors make it a huge NO !
@jonpetter892117 күн бұрын
Both Motorweek and Edmund range-tested this and got over 230 miles. 215 miles is the worst case condition. ID Buzz got the latest software and hardware on their infotanement. Your comment about software and and tech is therefor absolutely wrong. The software issue concerns older software on VW pre 2023 models. About charging infrastructure, thing is getting better. It s not a reason not to buy non Tesla EVS anymore.
@Annette_Hons17 күн бұрын
@@jonpetter8921 VW is lightyears behind Tesla as far as software goes, that is a fact that cannot be disputed. As for range, yes 215 IS REAL WORLD RANGE. A $70k+ (before the horrendous dealer markups) EV with less than 300 miles range is unacceptable! And the charging infrastructure has a long way to go before it's acceptable for non-tesla vehicles. The iD Buzz is meant for around town driving only, this is NOT a road tripping vehicle by any means! Those are facts, no sugar coating, real honest facts. this will be a huge loss for VW, they will loose millions on the iD Buzz, sadly!

I have a 2024 Subaru Forester with the same smaller infotainment center you are displaying but the only WI-FI settings I have is the WI-FI Hotspot and nothing at all about connecting to my home WI-FI or any WI-FI settings. Does anyone have an answer as to why this is?
@frankiedesam86242 ай бұрын
I wish they would put a transmission temperature gauge and not a speed one of how fast you go over how many miles you do. I got the 2024 Subaru Forster wilderness and it’s a off road vehicle they have basically everything you kind of need but not a Transmission temp sensor to tell me how hot it is. They need to fix this I hope they do.

I wish there was a widget for Range, and tire pressure. Any idea if new widgets like these will be added later?
@WinnerMorgan23 күн бұрын
Not that I know of as far as widgets go. Only way to see those is in your center screen between speedometers 😢

Why is there an IMax screen in the middle of the dash and where are the knobs? You have to look to change anything? That's not safe, that's terrible! Also, you can buy a workaround for the auto stop/start.

Everytime I hook my CarPlay up I can’t play the regular radio or XM radio
@WinnerMorgan7 ай бұрын
Hmm- you should be able to just by pushing the home button on the screen of the infotainment system after your carplay has connected and then clicking the radio app instead of the carplay app. You should be able to hear FM or SiriusXM whichever you choose. You can also download SiriusXM app on your phone and open it through apple carplay. If this does not work- a trip to your nearest Subaru dealership may be necessary. Hope this helps.

Hello- if I register a driver (2024 Outback Limited) for the seat/mirror settings- is this then sent to the door mounted buttons for seat memory as well). Or are those settings all independent from each other? Also- is there a way to fold mirrors in when parked??
@WinnerMorgan8 ай бұрын
Hi! The Driver Monitoring System is separate from the door mounted memory seat buttons. Unfortunately, only the Touring Outback has power folding mirrors, but you can pull them in manually! Hope this helps.

Does touring have power folding mirrors!? How is the pin set on the hatch?
@WinnerMorgan8 ай бұрын
Yes! They are powered. There's a button to automatically do it right about the knob for your mirror adjustments on the driver door and if you lock the car it they also fold. Watch this video for the PIN access: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bJeuqnWul7F_nrssi=vrZui4A75LFcTetg

Hello I would like to know if there is a possibility to modify the air-conditioned R on the auto mode so that it can work on a mode other than only the feet thank you
@WinnerMorgan8 ай бұрын
Hi! Here is some info on AUTO setting for your HVAC system: "Unlike the Manual Setting, Auto mode allows your air conditioner to regulate the temperature in your car automatically. Once you select auto mode, the unit will use its built-in thermostat to monitor the indoor temperature and adjust the cooling cycle accordingly. The air conditioner will turn on and off as needed, direct where needed, ensuring that your car stays at a consistent temperature without you having to manually adjust the settings." Sorry if this isn't much help, but if seems that there is no adjustment it just goes where it thinks it is needed.

Thank you for this video. I learned a few new tricks :) There are mainly two things I hope to find out (if they even exist): 1) a way to go back to the map without going through the home screen. The 2015 Outback had a physical "Map" button, and I miss it. I am not a big fan of the 2-way step to go through the home screen to return to the map. 2) Is there a way to set it so that the top part of the screen (widgets?) auto-scrolls or cycles? I want to see the information (music artists, weather, etc) but using the arrow to change the display has been inconvenient. Otherwise, I love my 2024 Outback!

Thanks so much for the kind words! Unfortunately with this new 11.6 in display there are no solutions for either of your questions yet. I am hoping they will have answers for this soon! Enjoy that Outback, they have the most comfortable seats EVER!
