He has a point about lead versus rythm.. In Surf lead is often minimalistic and rhythm is as fun to play..

Great, stuff Jason. I had seen Chick’s list before, but it’s great to hear you dissect, expand upon, and put each tip into context for every musician. You make great points about intention versus freedom to mess about to see what happens. I’ve always felt that lots of great stuff comes out of some amount of noodling… and mistakes! I especially like your discussion of phrasing and leaving space to let music breathe. Thanks for this!

Yes excellent series of videos. I never knew putting the Reverb Pedal before the pre amp was so vital to overall sound, but it makes sense that you would after Craig explains it. Other great information as well in the series.
