Okayyy. Well the go home function is very helpfull. You have to connect it to the PC to enable those modes. Great stuff. Has been out all day today. Will try and make a nice video tomgiht.

Thanks. I'm about 20 miles north of Tampa. The wind has been unpredictable here but the Phantom does great in the wind. I have not tried flying it in ATTI mode yet. I've had to many Helicopters crash because of wind so I am getting more experience under my belt before turning off GPS. I'll check out your FPV videos.

Original stock blades. Never balanced. Original phantom mount with the GoPro waterproof housing attached. I've taken about 2 dozen flights now and do not have a Jello problem. I bought additional blades and a prop balancer and haven't found a need to use either yet.

Did you balance your blades? And just to make sure... this is stock blades? and stock mount? (Or the GO pro's own case?)

Things I've learned in the first week (not used in this filming) : -turn slowly when filming in the air. -it easier to lower the phantom when you are not underneath it so you can judge the height. -aim camera opposite side of the green flashing light to avoid landing gear in your shot -check and/or tighten rotors after every flight -recalibrate with your PC after each crash

how did you install them?

@pau028ful sure i do..and the battery is new..i did try on 2 new 650mah battery. it does the same too heavy.

i got one from my local hobby shop that is like the baja one for the 5t or i cant remmember but the guy said no more wheelies with it the roll cage weighs as much as the battery

Not sure where you are at in LexOaks we look straight down the 7th fairway to watch it. It pops up over the trees looking straight down the fairway. Hope that helps.

That roll cage is a little heavy. I recently modified it with integy shocks and shock towers and cut out some of the supports on the roll cage to lose weight. Then I put a cross loop over the top to protect a GoPro HD Hero camera. Excellent HD 60 fps video coming soon of some wicked crashes with first person view through the roll cage.

how much does it weigh? seems like your weighed down alot before it took off in the begginning

Wish mine was that stable. It always seems to want to drift in one direction, no matter what I do (adjust swash, linkages, trim etc).

@TheSilverBullet1000 to answer your question, no phone # on it. We weren't sure the rocket was going to make it far but it actually made a decent trip. I have a much smaller HD cam now I am working on new projects I hope to post soon.

It should be here on Wednesday I'm pretty new my self and only started using a co-ax toy 3-channel heli a couple weeks ago but it's too easy for me so hopefully this one will be more enjoyable. Nice room by the way it looks bad ass kind of Adams family style haha

Blue Thunder came in 2nd in the Freestyle. Grave Digger won the Freestyle (which I have posted video of). Great show and yes...new turf for Raymond James. The Bucs could use a fresh start anyway (in more ways than one!)

Wow, you had great seats. My son and I were up in Sec. 330. east side. But this was our first event, so we were thrilled to death. There really wasn't a bad seat in the house. You must have had a great view of Superman's huge freestyle jump (wasn't his the longest?). Grave Digger stays intact the whole show, then totally rips his skin off at the end. LOL

It handles light wind well but those big blades carry with the wind when the wind speed picks up and the motors arent strong enough to fight big gusts so it drifts a bit. it is not a fast mover compared to my CB100 but you trade speed for stability with a coaxial.

How does it fly with a bit of wind? You got it up there pretty damn high nice work! I have a Lama V3 with some xtreme mods but its weighs 3 times less than this with only dual 180 motors so i suppose this should handle wind a lot better? Also does it fly at a reasonable speed or is it slow? Thankyou

The videos are not the full songs as I did not bring a back up memory card and feared I would run out of room and miss something later in the show. I kick myself for not having a backup so I could let the video run for the entire song especially since the sound quality is one of the better ones I see coming out of that show. I hope every enjoys what I was able to get. I had a great time!

All of the videos from the U2 show were from a point & shoot. Canon SD990 IS. It does decent video and excellent sound.

correction. "Flycamone version 2" is the camera.

It is the "flycanone v2". it is about the size of a USB thumb drive and records to an SD card. I am working on much better video. I shot some video of it on an RC plane that really shows the quality. It is small enough to stay to a rocket (shown in this video) and very durable.
