I love me some Chuck but for some reason I couldn’t get my mind around this …I kept daydreaming when I was trying to read it…hopefully the reread will bring it back lol I just love his first 8-9 books so much more ….he’s got short story essays you might be able to find from his workshops(one was about a group of disabled and disfigured guys that start their own version of chippindales -so great had me cracking up)

Dude have you read The Love Hypothesis by Ali Hazelwood? I literally read the entire book last night. It is so good........ Also I just got a Kurt Vonnegut book, Slaughter-House Five. I have a weird obsession when it comes to WW2 haha but Jailbird looks really good as well!

"Haunted" was one of the novels that left me with unease after finishing it. The depravity and brutalism throughout the framing story as well as individual stories was suffocating.
