What was the cost for one person for hotel of 3 stars and like food and transportation? Would you say its llikee Thailand or like India or expensive ?
@thedailypackers2 күн бұрын
In Kandy, the accommodation we stayed at for 1 night cost 10 168 Rupees with dinner. The private car from Kandy to Nuwara Eliya cost 16 000 Rupees. Afyer it depends how you travel. You could make it cheaper.

@thedailypackers16 күн бұрын
If you stay at Seaside Dhigurah, the best is to use one of their free bicycle. You can ride to most of the place on the island. To get to the sea bank, go all the way until the road end, let your bike and then walk a few minutes to reach the tip of the island.

What company did you use to travel from Maafushi to Dhigurah?
@thedailypackers17 күн бұрын
Any of the company in Maafushi is offering to drop you in Dhigurah at the end of the whale shark tour. We asked a few of them there as well as hotels and they were all offering it.

Thank you for this video. I would love to visit dhigurah but I have one question: We are planning for a 2 days visit to dhigurah and then to Maafushi. Is there a a speed boat that goes to maafushi or we should go back to Male? Thank you in advance.
@thedailypackers17 күн бұрын
There isn't a speedboat between Dhigurah and Maafushi. You must first go to Male airport and then to Maafushi. However if you do it reverse you could take a whale shark tour from Maafushi where they will drop you in Dhigurah. That could save you some transportation cost.

@thedailypackers27 күн бұрын
Yes, at the moment, from Velana International Airport to Dhigurah, there are speedboats at 11:00 or 16:30 from Saturday to Thursday. On Fridays at 10:00 and 16:30. One way one person 60usd.

Danke! Wir fliegen im Juli auch nach Dhigurah für eine Woche.Welche der Touren würden Sie uns empfehlen? Wir können nicht tauchen. So das wir ohne Tauchen was sehen könnten. V.G.
@thedailypackersАй бұрын
There are many things that you can do in Dhigurah without diving. If you want to see coral reef, fishes and turtle, you can try the turtle point. But globally, you can snorkel from any parts of the long bikini beaches of Dhigurah. The lagoon side (right side being the best). After, if you want to do tours, you can consider the Whale Sharks + Manta tour, it is only snorkeling and this tour is really close to Dhigurah. There are also other tours to do like the Nurse sharks but it is further away from Dhigurah and will cost more.

Visiting Sapa, Vietnam, and immersing myself in the vibrant culture of the Hmong tribe was an experience that left a lasting impression on me. From the moment I arrived in this picturesque region nestled in the misty mountains of northern Vietnam, I was captivated by the beauty of the terraced rice paddies, the colorful traditional clothing of the Hmong people, and the warm hospitality of the locals. Exploring the villages of the Hmong tribe allowed me to gain a deeper understanding of their rich traditions and way of life. I was humbled by their strong sense of community, their intricate handicraft skills, and their deep connection to the land. Walking through the lush green fields dotted with wooden houses and meeting with the friendly Hmong people gave me a glimpse into a lifestyle that felt both ancient and enduring. Interacting with the Hmong villagers, trying local delicacies, and participating in traditional activities like batik dyeing, embroidery, and dance performances helped me appreciate the heritage and cultural significance of the Hmong tribe. The genuine smiles, genuine interactions, and genuine bond that I formed with the people made me feel like a part of their community. Moreover, the breathtaking landscapes of Sapa with its terraced rice fields cascading down the mountainside, the fresh mountain air, and the serene beauty of nature all around added to the magic of the experience. Trekking through the hills, visiting waterfalls, and witnessing the simple yet fulfilling way of life in Sapa was truly a rejuvenating and soul-stirring experience. In conclusion, my visit to Sapa and encounter with the Hmong tribe was a deeply rewarding and enriching experience that I would rate highly. The authenticity, the cultural immersion, and the natural beauty of the region left an indelible mark on my heart and mind. If you are seeking a meaningful travel experience that allows you to connect with a unique way of life and appreciate the beauty of Vietnam's countryside, I highly recommend a visit to Sapa and an exploration of the Hmong tribe.

Nice video. We’re a team of locals and have made our own video with top tips in the region. There are many villages in Sapa that won’t have people following to sell to you. This only happens in the four most touristy villages. We think there are many more options in Sapa that you didn’t have chance to explore. kzbin.info/www/bejne/a4DIgmSvhtx9fM0si=g1hNCMAPiReuJwVR
