Yes, a little clipping, but the real problem is collision. The opening has to be fairly much larger than the character so it can pass thru

Hi Daniel, 3rd person is pretty much standard easy stuff now. If you have BIMA you should have 3rd person scripts. Let me know if you need any help.

What if wanted to use a switch as a teleporter? Activate a switch and the player is teleported?

Absolutely , and very easy. When you "activate" the switch just use one of two commands. Either "plrmoveto=x" x being the NAME of the entity to move to, OR "plrmoveifused" This transports the player to the NAMED entity in the “If Used” field. That one might be harder if the switches "ifused" field is being used for something else?

@@khm2u That's perfect thank you! I plan to disguise the switch as a door and it gives the player the ability to interact with a door to teleport to another room, similar to what you'd see in Fallout 3.

@khm2u Love the FPSC content. Do you know how to change the "Press Enter to use" text on the screen to say "Press F to use". I can figure out the key remapping but I'm unsure which file I need to edit to change the text prompt. Tried looking around on the forums but I couldn't find anything helpful. Any help of yours is highly appreciated!

Its actually an image file. Get one of the free graphics editors like Paint.net or Gimp. The file is located languagebank\english\gamecore\text Its the presstoenter.dds file. Make your new image file same size, save it with new name. (Keep your old one safe) change the script to point to the new image... all done:) If you need more help Please come see us at Discord Fpsc server the whole gang is there.

There's not much to link to for this. It is all vanilla Fpsc commands. For the trigger zone I used the command nextlevel=x ( X being the number of the next level to load ) when the zone was triggered. Then when activating the Win zone it would load that next level you asked for. If you want an example script let me know 😀 But remember everything in Fpsc is custom work.

oooooo ive been diggin around and looking at scripts for this for a while now. been wondering if it works on vanilla fpsc. awesome to know! I might use this; The idea of my game is to have a couple "big levels", when really, its just 5 small maps put together to create each "big level". It'd be neat to be-able to let the player go all the back to the beginning of the level, if they wanted to ♥

Hello SeGey512 well actually the first example "is" using a shader for the animation. But there is something not right about it. working on a fix. The second example uses no shader at all.
