Fear of a mixed Planet released in 2004. That's a pretty rare album these days.

I’ve listened to Dre since World Class Wreckin Cru. I’ve heard all his expirimenral stuff. This album should have been called DoggShitt. Eminem sounded like he took multiple takes and many unmatched vocals were slapped together.

What's krazy to me is yall listen to a album once and make these comments you think every album you listen to blows you away when you hear it once especially when a artist creates a different sound really seriously yall need to stop it

Nice review but I'm really confused here. If you didn't like the album and don't plan to listen to it that much in the future, why did you buy the physical copy on CD? You realize you supported a project that you didn't like? Makes no sense at all. I feel the same way, this missionary album had like 5 good songs on it out of 16 tracks, which means it's a bad album. Best track on the album i felt was "another part of me" with sting.
@TheBoomBoxGuruАй бұрын
I made the mistake of pre-ordering the album before hearing the music. I wasn't able to cancel my pre-order in time, because they started dropping the songs too close to the release date.
@Platform28Ай бұрын
@TheBoomBoxGuru i see, well you know now in the future don't buy any album on CD or vinyl until you hear it, have you heard the new redman album muddy waters too? Dropped dec 24th and it's fire!

100% agree with your view on this album but also we need to to recognize that even though dre was credited all over doggystyle he didn’t actually work on some of the tracks.

Album was so disappointing. As you said I really wasn’t expecting much but I thought it would have had some replay value. Genuinely can’t see me listening to this project again. I think Jason Martin hit the nail on the head when he said the album sounds “coast-less”.
@michaellee6558Ай бұрын
I don't what you saying you said the album coast less ok do you understand that these two artists are worldwide there is know boundaries to music these guys are not kids anymore you lucky they gave you a album to listen to they didn't have to because they are billionaires and legends you new age cats don't got know respect for the older artist you listen to garbage 24 hours a day 7 days a week but don't give the credit to who made it possible because you hate on those artist you keep going back to 93 that's was along time ago music evolves constantly to me that album is fire but you arm chair quarterbacks want to hate because you guys are putting out utter trash music and the older artist still kicking ass exposing your new age trash music forgive my French

Album wasn't as bad as people made it seem, the biggest reason it didn't do well is there wasn't a hit radio song on it. People liked to hate on Dre saying he always took credit for other producers at Death Rows stuff, YET all those other producers couldn't produce 1 hit song for Snoop on this album.

I will never get sick of watching rankings for this band. Everyone is so different, especially with the last 3/4 albums. You might be the first to not put Obzen in S. I could see it being an A. I do really love tracks 2 through 5 and the last song is Dancers to.a Discordant System. I know that because even today, I listen to that song once a week. It's one of the greatest songs ever made by anyone ever and I need it like I need water. I'm glad you gave Sleep of Reason a good spot. That one doesn't get the love it deserves sometimes. So you need to drop what you're doing right now and pick up the Re recording of Nothing. That first one should have never existed. The only credit I'll give the Orange copy is that Yens recorded his vocals so good in the first one. The Blue copy is the way it was supposed to be heard. They didn't really have a bassist for the Orange Nothing, and their guitars were 7 strings which would go out of tune all the time. They had 8 strings customized for that album. Was it the first 8 string metal album ever? I don't know about that, but it was absolutely the start of the 8 string trend in heavy bands. They probably started the 7 string trend too. That one album nearly kick started multiple genres suck as Metalcore and Deathcore and "Djent" (If you consider that a genre), and it started the trend of adding more strings to the guitar. It is a metal renaissance album. I have never returned to the Orange Nothing since. It is blown out of the water in every way.

Miss the bonz combo theres nothing like it and they could’ve really took it to a whole another level if they followed up declaration of a headhunter but i understand 9/11 changed the industry and it wanted nothing to do with “violence” and things got soft and sweet so i feel like they got robbed of their future but thats a “what if” i just hope bonz continue to make music or somehow work with ward but thats a wish thats slim to come true, good inputs and rankings, personally my list is 1) declaration of a headhunter 2)pigwalk 3) snappin necks 4) rising My favorite heavy song is throw the switch, cake, or the classic not promised tomorrow or f.o.d. Favorite with lord is open season its a whole vibe of its own and i feel pigwalk is the dirtiest in a good way and declaration is the hardest, rising is the classiest, and snappin necks is the funkiest in a great way!
