I remember playing this in jr high in 2008 ish, crazy the trumpet part I use to be able to do so fast! can't remember the fingerings now though been about 12 years

probably the best representation of this song i have found on youtube, except for the professional recording. i will say, however, that the sax in the beginning could be a little more independent, like written on the music (rubato)

i know it is really fast.i am playing that to. but i am playing the 2nd alto sax. i don't know why she put almost all the 7th grader's are playing 2nd alto sax. but, 2 7th grader are not . they are playing the 1st alto sax. that is not fair at all. i wish that we played 1st alto sax, or them 2 play 2nd alto sax. uhhhh! whyyy! tell me why . okay. by !

This is one of the songs we're doing in our marching show! It's the opener to our show (Stormfront (and passage, because the judges didnt understand the original title)) and I fell in love with it the first time I played it! I'm only a freshman so I'm really happy this is my first song of my marching career - its so pretty!

Played this in high school the year our wind ensemble won the Superstate competition (I played lead alto). Man, it was a bitch to nail down, but so rewarding once it came together. I still have the recording (on cassette!) and love listening to all those runs. What a gorgeous piece.
