How did you extract these? I've been trying to find some of the raw audio files from Brothership for myself, but any guides I've tried to follow are so damn hard to even wrap my head around XP

I extracted the romfs using my modded Switch and opened the Unreal Engine 4 assets with FModel.

Afghani's luigi has always been fantastic, eversince day one. Is he charles martinet? No, obviously not. But his luigi is fantastic, and by far his BEST role. As a matter of fact......im going to piss off alot of martinet fans here...(Im a martinet fan too, actually) But i favor afghani's luigi over martinet's latest luigi clips. This luigi sounds quirky, lively and just ready to go! I LOVE this luigi voice and have loved it since day one. Martinet's mario is clearly the winner against afghani's mario. I have no problem there and completely agree with everyone there. But afghani's luigi.....its just excellent. Hard to put into words, while this is clearly a somewhat different take on luigi, it works very, very well and really brings luigi to life! I LOVE it!

one thing i miss is tha tthey dont scream their brothers name when they get downed. i just miss the MARIOOOO sound from luigi when mario falls. now its just a "WA"

im curious to hear snoutlet, connie and other npc's sound effects since they have like a few "speech" voice clips that play randomly when they talk and itd be cool to hear the full versions of those

Kevin did a pretty great job with this game. Not sure if this is a "me" thing, but I actually think his performance here is a biiiiit of a step back from Jamboree imo. I actually think he sounded incredible as the Bros in that game. Perhaps these lines were recorded before Jamboree, but regardless, he still did good here.

Almost finished the game, and Luigi’s voice has grown on me, at the start I didn’t like it much, because the talking gibberish just sounds off compared to previous games. But now I think Kevin’s rendition of the voice sounds more realistic, and gosh his little ‘leave it to me’, ‘helpppp’ and ‘bye bye’ and are so so cute.

This might be a hot take, but I actually think Kevin does a better job with Luigi than Charles! I think Charles' Mario voice is a bit more iconic, but Kevin's Luigi seems to have more life and expression to it IMO! Overall astounding work by Kevin in this game!

Kevin's Luigi sounds a bit more youthful and less nasally than Charles' Luigi, though I suppose that's a given since the two actors are years apart. I guess a good way to see it is that Kevin leans more into the idea that Luigi's the little brother while Charles leans more into the idea that Luigi's the cowardly brother.

WOW! YES! I found someone else who thinks Kevin afghani's Luigi is better than Martinet's! I love Martinet's work, always will. He is top tier. However, his Luigi was sounding ragged, too much like a toddler to me, and kinda rough at the end. He just was lacking to me. Still good work, but I didn't like his Luigi at the end. Afghani brings Luigi life, energy, and brings his quirkiness to life beautifully! Afghani's best work is clearly with Luigi, and I'm very excited to hear more of his Luigi! His Mario is improving, but Martinet's Mario is still far better. Gotta admit.
