A note, As I understand it Kokona's Awakening 3 absorbs 50 + OVERFLOW, Which is MASSIVE when dueling a Kanami and planting your feet. It means that the first shot she hits you with is completely free, Even if it's a fully charged headshot. And Kanami's maximum damage output on a body shot, at sub 10m range with A1 tops out at 214 damage- This means with heavy armor you can potentially take two back to back hits from her, the first of which can even be a fully charged headshot, the second of which can be a body shot with full charge or anything less, And you'll live. Of course, Standing in place long enough for her to fire a second shot risks her hitting your head. But if you're being mobile, you can make it a lot more likely she'll hit the body and let you survive on 1 or more hp the second shot, then you duck into cover before she can fire a third. Either way, Kokona A3 means that first shot is completely free, whether you have heavy armor or light armor. So if you're going to A3, maybe just do light armor so you can survive chip damage better, and trust in using that 1 free hit to survive to secure your victory over the enemy sniper.

left side peeks does seem like you'd expose yourself first, before your crosshair. hence it feels more awkward. correct me if im wrong

Side stepping needs to be addressed for snipers. The constant threat of a one shot while also abusing side stepping makes good snipers a monumental headache to deal with unless you gank them.

Ugh how I wish this game could've been like others and just had i-frames and better healing. The gameplay looks so sick and is seemingly one of the only games remotely close to an Avatar bending style fighting game (besides that one VR earthbending game) but those hurdles are just really damn frustrating to me.

As a "good player" ( peak top 60 on leaderboard (diams)) on kokona in EU i found you give good tips for beginner and more advanced players, for the people who want to go far with kokona i also recommend to train a lot about close range fight, try to shot once with the snipe then switch to secondary. And learn where to place yourself because with kokona for example is the most important thing, you need to not be too close and not too much far from the fight. Good luck too all of you navigator ❤❤

If u get a shot on your head by a sniper it simply means your movement sucks meaning its too predictable.

"without moving your crosshair" Moves crosshair a hell of a lot during the guide. (outside ADS but that is already a problem for people who can't snipe)

Yeah true, you do still have to move your camera to play the game you got me. Fact remains that at least thinking about placing your crosshair before scoping in will make every shot a helluva lot easier. You can take or leave these tips.

@@yocuppajoe It's good advice but thats also for every gun type. Just saying its not exactly the most helpful advice for people with genuine bad sniper aim. As an example, my problem when I aim with a sniper scope is that the big zoom (and I don't mean all ADS) mess with my perception (for some reason) and I just miss altogether. I have better luck hitting stuff with Nobunaga for example (across all distances), and I don't mean because I shoot more I hit more.

@@PuchimonExtremeYou can toggle a low zoom mode on snipers. By default it’s bound to the “tilde” key, aka the button under “esc” with a ~ squiggly line on it. You’d just have to scope in and press it at the start of the round.

If your aim is potato then these techniques are for you. The whole point of this video is to show what you can do in order to make it so you don’t even need such incredible aim to get headshots. Don’t worry if your aim is bad now. It will improve over time. Just practice what you saw in the video.

I try a lot and sometime hit sometime not so it really risky to try that but luckily as a paper they cant shoot you so with some prepare you almost one step ahead the enemies and just wait for a moment to shoot.

I recommend to run around a lot. Just get a feel for his attacks. Find builds that are for you. I loved basic water attacks, fire which gives you faster auto attacks and the item which upgrades your basic attacks. You will probably die a few (maybe many) times befor you can win against his second. So don't beat yourself down, try new things out and just keep at it I wish you all the best. PS: the hints from the video were a game changer for me, because you can already get a feel for his attacks without having to complete the runs and die trying
