I found that cleaning my skin with a gentle soap and applying a gentle moisturiser (and in the day sunscreen) was better than any other method I had tried. I also find that it is easier to navigate the cosmetic world by using only the most basic products and generally ignoring all the ‘oily skin’ ‘large pores’ stuff. My problems went away naturally as I used these gentle products. Now I only use 3 products (bar of gentle face soap, moisturiser, sunscreen) with pimple patches if I need them (I find that they’re the only cosmetic product that works almost immediately and without fail) Additionally habits that improve the overall condition of my body also improved my skin. Regular exercise, eating regularly and eating well, drinking water, smiling and being happy, as well as spending time in fresh air and not the stagnant air of my bedroom.
