Its hard to think of pointer sisters as a girl band cause they always looked like 40 yr old women. I dont know if it was the styling or whatever but they jjust never had that street vibe that appeals to kids. But they were awesome still. Woman band.

IMDb lists it as only 2 episodes and although they say the series is 5 hr on the cover page, they list the times for the two episodes as a total of 3:42. I haven't watched this yet, but it seems to be complete. Thanks for the post.

I was in 8th grade when I saw this broadcast. My family didn’t have cable tv or a VCR at the time so watching this broadcast was a big deal for me. I remember we made popcorn on the stove. Great memories. Although I’ve made popcorn on the stovetop myself countless times since then whenever I make it the smell always brings me back to that time 😊

In 1982 we had a game show called “Fantasy”, an Aldo Nova top 40 song called “Fantasy”, and a one hour prime time drama show called “Fantasy Island”. I guess that year was a fantasy.
