The Antlions will catch up and infinitely respawn, but yeah it is sad how many you throw into the meat grinder. The game is really an amazing FPS as it brings new mechanics and weapons into each level. Half Life Alyx should be played after Half Life 2 +its 2 episodes. It does tie into the ending of Half Life 2 Episode 2. After that if you want some more Half-Life goodness, I would recommend Black Mesa. It is a remake of Half-Life 1 (which is the prequel to this game).

@7:30 You are right the house exploration is not necessary, but the game hides little bits of extra health, ammo, etc. in those side locations and it makes it rewarding to explore. @15:00 Where the three batteries are, there is actually another one on the at platform by the windmill blades. The game gives you four so you have options on which you find (you throw stuff at the platform to knock it down). @23:00 Those white suit friendly NPCs with the red crosses are medics, if you press E they will sometimes dispense health packs for you. Also, the big flying white whale like ships that are carrying those black containers underneath are dropships, they only have that machine gun to deter you while they drop troops off, then they leave. The smaller white ships with the single big helicopter blade on the back are the actual attack ships that will keep attacking until you kill them. They will try to shoot your rockets out of the air, that is why the rocket launcher has a red laser, you can actually direct your mid-air rockets, you fire, by moving that laser around. The best strategy is to fire the rocket to the side of those attach ships and direct it into them from there, so it is harder for them to turn and shoot the rockets. @36:00 Sandtraps is one of those love it or hate it levels. Those grey pillars are called Thumpers and (opposite of Dune) they actually repel nearby Antlions. You can cross the sand using two of those pallets or doors, you just keep leaping frogging them as you move, the antlions don't attack unless you touch sand. One of the key things I would say for the game's puzzles is look for a plug, button, or something you need to grab with the gravity gun. The game explains some game mechanics through character dialogue (unlike most modern games that pause the entire game and bring up some box interrupting the immersion); there are still a few nuances that they don't explain and are there for you to discover.

Hi first, great content. second you can store things in the first aid kits and additional clothing when it's in your inventory, usually they hold more things than they take up so a first aid kit takes 4 slots but actually holds more than that :) that might help your next playthrough.

whenever i clip something i go to the medal window and try to play it but it just says "game out of focus video unavailable" please help (it does sayits clipping the game and shows the name aswell i restarted more than once but it justkeeps doing the same thing so i cant really clip anything at all it only says ''game out of focus'' the whole time when i have the game open

Yo! Any idea why my medal might've randomly got corrupted (atleast I think it's corrupted)... I had it downloaded for a long time, like a year+ now, and all of a sudden, it deleted itself like partially off my PC. The download looks like a piece of paper and if I try to delete it, I can't.

I don't really move to it like you do anymore because I am so used to it by now lol. I was a fan long before hypa hypa was released so I know the energy they bring. It's to be expected. I kind of do wish they did some more heavy stuff again but all I really want is a change in the flow of their songs. Give us a solo. I can only think of one guitar solo in all of their songs and that's mc thunder.
