@ThePulseOfMusic great review, just found out about them at BFF fest in Las Vegas. Incredible, bought this and all killer, no filler. Ive been listening to it for 2 weeks straight, probably the longest ive cycled an album since having a CD player in my car lol

None of them are. All of the lyrics on under soil and dirt are written just fine, the album is a classic, and while I like that you see TSSF as the best in the genre, cuz they are, I wouldnt be SO dismissive of the rest of the genre. State Champs are an amazing band in their own right as well.

I've only listen the new album all the way through once, it has its bangers but over all not my taste. 2020's TGI album is also peak The Ghost Inside. That album doesn't have a song I dont like. It might actually be better than Returners as my Favorite TGI album

I had to skim through this cuz of the length. I like some of these songs more than you do but your reaction to "earn it" was nearly identical to mine. It's the worst song they've ever made, definately the worst song on this album, and it should have been left off. I also hated how preach the attitude of the lyrics are in the song too. Worst TGI song ever. I like light years, secret, and wash it away for what they are. How much staying power they have, we will see.
@xXbaker115Xx6 ай бұрын
I had the absolute pleasure to see them live for the third time the week they released this album. And they talked about everything you mentioned thinking that this was going to be their last album. And at the end of the show, they were so grateful that everyone came to the show knowing all the new songs from the singles they dropped and even a few just in the week the album had been out and basically just said how this album and seeing the fans loving it so much reignited their passion I've just bought ticcts for the next Australian concert where they've upgraded from the smaller venue they normally play at to a much larger venue, which is awesome for them, though I will miss seeing them at the smaller venue and the vibes that come with that

You have a right to be "mid" on Bad Omens. I'm going to politely and fiercely disagree with you (lol), but you don't have to be a huge fan. I will however, agree with you that when they brought out the band members of Too Close To Touch to do Sympathy? That was epic. I honestly didn't know Keaton and Noah were such good friends until that moment. Then every song and moment after that shows just how much Noah was friends and loved Keaton. The new album with him finishing a lot of those songs and that one verse in Novacaine where Noah is basically saying he'll sing for Keaton through himself. It's painfully beautiful.
