After Emperors i put these on my Saturn kit ! On my bassdrum i still use a Powerstroke 3 ! Love them !! Now i bought myself a used Black Panther Velvetone kit(as new) ! Therefor i got myself a set of Powerstroke 4 coated ! Also a PS3 coated head for the bassdrum ! Ive did never used a PS4 on the bass !? What is the different in sound,feel ? Gonna try a P77 on my Persuader snare !

Scott. You sound incredible. Is that the 20x14 kick? Or the 22x16? I’m look at this kit in ice blue but with the 20”kick. Nervous about it sounding small.

Hey man thanks for watching! Yes I have a 22in kick. Yea 20 could decrease your power some but it’s all about how you want to use it and the type of songs your playing. The blue is a beautiful color. Go for it! Have fun. 💯‼️

What’s up bro! Thanks for watching! I appreciate the compliment on the clean mix. We take pride is our sound at my church. So we are using Behringer P16 for our headphone mix. I personally pan a lot of things in my mix to keep the middle open. For example, I pan the guitars hard left. I Pan the lead singer, and Bgvs hard right. This creates more room for the middle. Also everything that can be a stereo Mix is a stereo mix. That helps spread the sound, and it makes the mix so full and wide. Hopefully this helps bro. 💯‼️

Had a Pearl decade a few years ago the Kobalt Blue Fade with 24" kick....and my immediate thoughts were WTF straight out the box they felt cheap asf like it was $200 from Walmart or something, I'm dead serious it was bad. I boxed back up and returned it without playing...that was my first drum purchase from Pearl and now I'm afraid to trust buying any kit that they make...I like this SSS but afraid cause of my past, I gotta see it in person first now....just my experience I wanted to share with you.

I’m using P4 remo heads. There great heads and a lot of pop and gospel artist use them. The cut out a lot of over tone and give you alot of punch. However it’s your opinion and I respect that. Be blessed. 💯🙏🏾

@@kmtobia Hey thanks for watching. Yes most most heads will work great with these drums. Pinstripes are good or coated are good. Really just depends on the sound you’re going for.
