Internet connection was fairly stable throughout. But once we reached Kemmangundi, only JIO worked. Would recommend downloading offline map!

You missed one temple nearby this temple around 3-4 km. Temple is, bengali swarna vivekananda kali mandir. Replica of Dakshineswar kali mandir, kolkata.

We went via Anantapur and the route is pretty good after taking diversion from Anantapur towards Chitradurga. Would recommend this route

If you are looking for Picnic, it’s a good option. But expect huge crowd on eve of New year. I have seen people bringing home cooked food and having a picnic. But I am not sure if you are allowed to cook , as its a reserve forest . So cooking food there is not a good idea.

I have done hampi/ badami/madikeri/ munnar/ masinagudi/ooty/coorg/bijapur/lonavala/matheran/aurangabad/shirdi/ tirupati/srisailam/tadoba/ bandipur/coimbatore/ chitrakoot (Chaatisgarh) . Almost all limited places from hyderabad. We are land locked Between big states. I also wish we had our own travel groups that are non commercial and safe for all travellers.

@@twoinfinity Thank you! Considering the road condition, ghat section and my own fatigue, I took a halt for the day at Burhanpur. Anyone planning to do a Hyd-Indore but want to avoid night driving can try this option too. There are quite a few good places, this was a backup plan that so far is proving to be worth it's weight in gold 😊

We visited palolem on December 2023, on eve of new year. It’s absolutely safe , but do expect a lot of crowd and hiked up prices for food and stay!
