I think the thing I like best about your videos is that you are not out to prove anything. No screaming, no discussion of polars, no cell phones, not out of control roundups or tearing sails. Just three guys and their friends who like sailing and each other and take videos of other boats, not because you are beating them, but because they a graceful and beautiful.

When you are using the standard non-overlapping jib, at what AWS do you have to reef the main going to weather?
@jrabeux
@jrabeux 11 ай бұрын
Around 18 to 20 knots
@ericwest4069
@ericwest4069 4 ай бұрын
@@jrabeux Thanks. It sounds as if, when you sheet the jib to the track outboard of the shrouds, you could then probably be pretty comfortable with a full main at 20 kts., and flying along, too?

Yes the boat handles well up to 20 knots of wind

I've been following Leo and his crew for about a year now. Went back and watched all the old content on his channel and related content on a few others. Your channel popped up today. Nice surprise! Thanks for sharing this. As I understand it, the masts are coming next and the Tally Ho will be in the elements from now on! Cheers.

The first time I visited Leo , the Tally Ho was in Sequim. I went there to donate a couple of things, and it never gets old seeing what gave in use. Then, a year and a half ago I went back give him some lead he needed to help keep the boat in trim. I've not seen it installed yet. I think the boat has to be sailing to figure out where to put it. There has been some beautiful progress since I was in Port Townsend.

Tally Ho will easily be worth at least 10x her orignal value. My only concern is that demand for sailing with her doesn't price itself right out of its intended market.

I am so happy for you all that there was such a good turnout. Splendid day and I would have loved to be part of the party. But to fly in from Europe was a little rich. I wait for Leo and Tally Ho to sail to Europe. Good luck and success with the completion. .
