@@rider65 I can agree with the organisation of this event, I’ve done it 3 years and it just seems to be all over the place. Last minute changes, No organisation at the mid lift station on race day, which meant last year on the main race day, the race started without 50 people being at the top in time, I was one of them. And 2024 the weather couldn’t be helped but was still fun. Still an amazing event and place to be.

@@EvilNapkinPie I think it was mountain of hell that got cancelled. Megavalanche still went ahead but last minute changes meant we had to start lower down from the quali track start.

@@SB-dv8ih There was snow at the top of the mountain but wasn’t able to race from there as of the bad weather higher up. But we did get to ride from the top earlier in the week still and there was snow there. Was interesting starting lower down for the race. Mostly just mud 😂

You should participate in main races. Like megavalanche final, megavalanche la reunion final and Mountain of hell final. Like huge pigeon. Kilian brorn, domain oton. Your stamina will inceases after this. You have potential and you can do it.

Unless your at the front you may as well hang back for 5 minutes before setting due to the bottlenecks at the corners. At least then you can choose your line. Well done for doing it 👏🏻👏🏻

What hardtail were you using and fork travel tyre size/ pressures inserts? ect. As someone who uses my hardtail for all trails I'm very curious 🤔

@@matthewneeds285 I have a Nukeproof Scout, 140mm fork. 29” wheels, 29x2.35 Schwalbe Magic Mary front & a 29x2.4 Schwalbe Big Betty rear. No inserts in this video but would normally run a rimpact basic insert in the rear. Tyre pressure I based it on what I normally start on with my downhill bike there, so 26psi front and 28psi rear. Hope this info helps 😊

@@jayd9521yes, but my question is why is it lower in the rear than the front. You always want the front lower pressure ESPECIALLY on a hardtail where that back tire is going to be smashing into rocks. I’ve never met anyone running less pressure in the rear tyre than the front.

Sick! Saw this one from the chairlift. We did a few of the red enduros but the black was a bit of a step up all right. Nice one!
