GUYS it appears the sounds are FAKE ie: they were added to this video afterwards. I know - I'd love to have them on my glider too!!! . I have just bought the lxNAV Speedo which apparently does have a "stall stall" sound. I believe my lxNAV S7 vario can also have a voice (when connected to flarm) tell me where there is another glider.

Geez. Pilots flying in average conditions around Minden, Nevada, have been forced into the sagebrush from normal X-C altitudes within 10 minutes.

Very poor airmanship and judgement to fly so close to CB - a very irresponsible thing to do and certainly nothing to be proud of! 👎👎😩😩👎👎

For a few glider pilots thunderstorms present an irresistable challenge. Back in the '50s British gliding guru Derek Piggott was competing in national gliding championships in a Slingsby T21 two seat trainer (developed in WW2 for training military glider pilots) with an ATC cadet as co-pilot. Deliberately entering a thunderstorm he achieved a two-seater altitude record at over 17,000 feet. Piggott had over 5,000 hours on 184 glider types and passed away at 96 in 2019.

A suggestion; wouldn't it be better to attach the GoPro to a fix point in the canopy, to isolate it from the pilot's head turns? I think it would be more enjoyable from the point of view of the person watching the video. Please take a look at Bruno Vassel chanel.

Wouldn't catch me dead flying through one of those, especially not in a glider, the windshear inside CB clouds is strong enough to bring down airliners (either via ice or structural damage) a glider would be torn to ribbons going though one of those

Niech was gęś kopnie, montażyści! Takie kapitalne zdjęcia, krystalicznie czyste, zjawiskowe ujęcia, żywe powietrze, przepiękne szybowce. I taką rzeźnię z nich zrobić! Pociąć na trzysekundowe kawałki, jakieś wstrząsy domontować, zgrzyty, błyski, jakieś podrygi. Jezu! A moglibyście zmontować tak dodatkowo z pół godziny filmu bez użycia szatkownicy?

Fine job though I constantly got distracted and frustrated by the constant wobbling of your right hand... gliders fly themselves when trimmed correctly, no need to stir it around like that! Great job though, helps me prepare for what’s to come
