Irish dancers from Scotland. It's not that hard to unwind. The narration put years on me too. Choreography and dancing was fun to watch.

Though the accepted norm...transforming young women into "plastic dolls" via copious amounts of make-up and expensive bling dresses seems to distract from authenticity and tradition of Folk Dance. How would a young dancer with "World Champion" form be judged were she to appear in peasant dress, natural flowing hair and youth-full complexion? Such embellishments are not a consideration for young male competitors. "Flowers in Prime of Bloom need no Artificial Plumes."

What has Scotland or highland dancing thrown in got to do with Irish dancing? The Yanks have ruined traditional Irish dancing since Riverdance. First the god awful wigs, then the costumes got turned into Shirley Temple dresses, the ridiculous tape on the hard shoes and poms. Festival Irish Dancing are the only association that at least keep it real. Simple costumes and kids looking like kids...not Shirley Temples and Barbies. I lost all credit for CLRG when they let the boy dance as a girl too. Calm down CLRG...take dancing back to proper costumes, proper dancing.

I suppose if these dancers weren't flatly it would be difficult to dance like this.

I hate what they have done to our beautiful dance and sport with all these horrific choreographed performances with stupid jerky arm movements and the wigs getting like King Billy at the battle of the Boyne. 😢.

The entry voice comment was ridiculous. And long. Dancing and choreography were excellent but could also have been celebrating ....er,.......anything! From a Scot.
