Just as a note, you probably shouldn't use the contact information someone gives you to verify their identity; it could just as easily be their friend on their cell phone. You'd want to independently find contact information for the appropriate office and call them through there.

This should not be funny, but it is. "Oh, I'll just turn on this random machine!" Zero situational awareness.
@user-nq2oz8tf2l2 күн бұрын
It's weirdly common. Like some people just normally see the machine running so they think it's got to be that way if it isn't.

If patient exhibit shock S/S n life threatening injuries dont we load n go, performing secondary en route? I mean the patient is dying and the EMT is like let me check this (x17) off! Imagine its a child...im load n go after flail chest deminished signs, or unresponsive? ALS could be stalled up and you had opportunity to get patient to hospital. I guess nothing is perfect but if im 8 minutes from trauma center n ALS 12 minutes out ,...im taking the patient and getting fired later....

Thanks so much for this. My training is getting old and I think I have a practice scenario tomorrow at work so I needed to brush up a bit and I had to go through a ton of crappy videos before I found one that was thorough yet concise.

I know 3 people count THREE. Because someone saw the lock out, decided to remove it anyway and turn it on. Resulting in said person being hurt.

I hate that with all of my heart Bad shop ethics and lack of common sense = injury and usually no accountability for the pencil pusher who made it his business to turn the machine on
@danwiens98304 ай бұрын
If you’re walking around the shop floor with a coffee cup you shouldn’t be turning on random machines anyways.

Silica dust is also a silt. So it won’t be fun at all when it gets in your eyes. Even clay dust is bad enough while doing ceramics.

You should do a third video showing him wearing a proper monitor, and/or the rescuer using portable O2 to be able to actually rescue him (after taking the steps shown in the video here).
