my favorite video of yours- love the channel- I personally love to see mma compared to other striking sports (highlighting differences in technique and context) type content. Thanks for all your time, effort, and expertise :)

That I enjoyed is an understatement. I've now understood why flowing proper punches into kicks has been so awkward. Because of that distance. Need to take a step back to increase distance maybe, and a step forward for vice versa. Again it all boils down to footwork. It's like in boxing the legs actually do the heavy lifting and the hands complete the remainder.

Thanks. If your not use to angle and foot work with little wide stance, can i do small steps

New to foot work. I cant dance, so i can see why 😅 . When im striking class it's so hard to move like the other guy's. What am i doing. So frustrating. On top of that doing gabs too. I can get better. Oh yea i tend to cross my footing when moving laterally ect...

can you please make a video on how you would fight in the streets? (without gloves) your hands would have to come higher to block the head (because you dont have the padding of gloves), but that would expose your body for teeps and roundhouses. and then if you lower your arms to block the body teep/roundhouse, it leaves you open for a superman. thanks, and love the content!

U have to make a small adjustmennts, crunch your stomach and and put your elbows on your ribs and open your hands to protect your head or stand in your long guard like a Mcgregor or shotokan guys

Is using the elbows more effective for someone without much training? Seems like it would be because the first way feels like it's much harder to see punches coming without much training
@joondagoon677414 күн бұрын
You see punches coming by how much effort the guy throwing them uses
