Spent 6 years in the Cadets program (started at 11 as a leaguer and changed when I aged out) and now I’m enlisting. Changed my life !

6:04???? Damn that is marathon pace. My best pace was 6:10 for three miles. Just glad they start the clock after the last Marine crosses the start line. So probably more like 6:15 pace🤣😭😭😂😂😂

@@Sergeant5eI had a Sergeant who ran a 15:45 3 mile lol. He was infantry Sgt. The fastest 3 mile I saw was a 14 minute 3 miles though. I think it was 14:50 minute 3 mile. I don’t know who he was but it was nuts.

Sea Cadet 67-70 Was given permission to assume the helm of the USS Lexington CVT-16 1970 when the Navy was training fleet pilots for Viet Nam....I trained for nearly a year for that privilege. I was 16yo at the time....

Yes, if you cannot pass the prt for one year, you will be put on probation, and if you cannot pass it for another year, you will be asked to leave the program. And you cannot go to any trainings until you pass the prt, and you also cannot promote if you don’t pass. -PO2 Andrews

Congrats on your progress. Check out my older brother, Chief Isiah L. Jones, U.S.S Constellation Division, Harrisburg, PA Armed Forces Reserve Center. We were cadets between 2000 and 2005 along with my little brother and sister. He was the first black chief.
