As a graduate from KU I remember my professor asking me do you know who sat in this seat you’re sitting in I replied I have no idea He said Wilt Chamberlain sat here I thought to my self how cool RCJ

In 1961 I graduated from KU. The graduation ceremony began shortly after dark in the stadium, which down in a shallow valley. Most of the campus buildings are on the overlooking ridge known as Mt. Oread. During the graduation ceremony the lights in the campus buildings were turned on. At the end of the ceremony the stadium lights were turned off , but the buildings remained lighted. The ceremonies ended by the attendees singing the KU Alma Mater. A number of the students could be heard quietly sobbing. I don’t remember sobbing, but tears came to my eyes.

Still waiting for a production with a designer who is Oz-savvy enough to put "Nimmie Amee" or even "Nick loves Nimmie" on the tree trunks.

*gasp* You telling me you haven't seen Jack Haley? HE IS THE BEST TIN MAN AND NOBODY CAN CHANGE MY MIND! Like, he's my favourite actor of all time, and, I struggle to admit, he was very cute, with such a dreamy voice. Go watch the MGM movie for his utterly STUNNING performance. You won't regret it at ALL. (I certainly didn't...) -Sally

In the early 1970's, I graduated from the University of Kansas. As a foreign student from Hong Kong, on my graduation day, I walked 3 steps behind the Dean down the Campanile to Memorial Stadium ... and, with tears in my eyes, sang... Far above the golden valley Glorious to view, Stands our noble Alma Mater, Towering towards the blue. Lift the chorus ever onward, Crimson and the Blue Hail to thee our Alma Mater Hail to old KU.

What's there to shove in the face of mallu s ? don't forget that the actress in this film song and many others are mallu. also the puli kali used in this song is from kerala..tamil movies are accepted in kerala and most actors have big fan bases here. This is unlike tamil nadu where most think mallu movies are not good. but everyone wants to remake mallu movies :)

one of the best choir performance of ballelekka. keep it up. All the words are almost perfect except one word " marathu poguma ". It should be "marandhu poguma". "Marathu poguma " means - will it become numb " marandhu poguma" means - can we forget. The actor is singing about his child hood days playing near Tamil nadu's main river called kaveri ( also prounced as kaviri) and eating the hand pound rice cultivated along the river. This song talks about cultural scenario of growing up in tamil nadu's villages
