you seem to be very impatient when picking missions. If you took a bit more time reading them you will find there are a lot of bounties near your current location especially around Orison in Daymar and Yela. A little time spent selecting your mission will save you a ton of time travelling and fuel costs. Also you've probably worked this out by now but hitting C while travelling sets your cruise control which can be adjusted by scrolling as you were describing it around 14:30 mark

part of the problem your having is the controls have changed and you're expecting it to be intuitive when it isn't because of the sheer amount of controls. With each patch i've taken advantage of some of the regular youtubers that put out update videos telling you the control changes which makes a world of difference. Also with bounty hunting it is unreasonable to expect to have a fixed quantum marker to an unknown random enemy. Remember you are chasing down a fugitive. Why would you expect to be able to jump straight to that person. This is an example of gamer brain where we are used to being hand held all the way to the objective. SC isn't like that, you have to think more like what would happen in the real world. You would have a last known location and jump to the nearest fixed official marker and then make your way to the search area

I'd really love to know what your thought process was when you kept moving away from your objective all the time. As I said in the previous vid I'm amazed you didn't overheat on Aberdeen and didn't get crime stats for killing security ships. I've also never seen Kescher that passive and let you fly around it without blowing you out of the sky in short order

I'm astounded you didn't get a crime stat for attacking Klescher prison. It looks to me you actually paid for a bounty on a real player who was serving time in prison. Iirc NPC bounties always have 2 names with a space between them as players can't use space when creating their name. I'm also shocked you didn't overheat from Aberdeens atmosphere

That alien pistol is suppose to be very good. from what I understand. You can remove the mags from the guns if you need ammo.

Mining, scavenging, and Cargo hauling are good ways to make major amounts of money. Cargo hauling is a risk because you have to invest money to gain more but that’s the biggest profit if done right.

Intrepid looks good, however the limited power of its single weapon casts doubts on the range of missions it can do. The Avenger Titan in the same price range, has one S4 and two S3 weapons.

@@m1ddleagemadness I had to compare the advantages and disadvantages of the ship. As far as renting a MISC Prospector, Nov-24-25 will feature the MISC manufacturer. You should be able to find it then.

Parkour!! Nice how you managed to get back on board after botching the landing at Razors Edge a little bit. The relieve to beeing back in ones ship was almost palpable. Especially since we´ve all been there (figuratively speaking) and done that! 🙂 Also I can confirm and support everything Akram said below - very nice summary! The Prospector will be available on sunday when MISC comes to Apex HAll. And although i totally respect the approach to try and figure most of the things out on your own - mining is one of the more fleshed out game loops in this game with quite some fiddely bits and nifty little details. I would perhaps suggest to watch at least a quick summary about what to do when mining (perhaps a TikTok short or summing). My guess is that going into this completely blind might make for more confusion and frustration then is neccessary. Have fun with IAE - I remember renting EVERY SINGLE ship when I first went 😅

You quickly forget your current objective. You appear to be ammo farming while you have well over 400 shots. Use your map in the upper right corner to keep you from going in circles. Way to much time mucking around. I did the same thing when I started. When looting look over the F.. it will elther say equip which means you or loot which means them. When you shoot a guy dont use your who clip when he is staggering and dont reload EVERYTIME... Enter a room, check left, check right and keep it moving...

awesome video as usual! I love the quality of your videos. for the bed (or any interaction) if you see the three dots under the word sit (for other interactions too) means if you hold F it will show you a scroll wheel for options and you can select lie down. for money making, so far the best ways to make money is salvaging (with vulture you can get up to 440K per hour), or getting drugs from either bounty hunting missions (ERT level) or illegal mercenary missions (Vaughn) elite assassin and above where you can capture anywhere between 500k to 5 million of aUEC (Alpha United Earth Credit - the game currency) but the average for Vaughn is 1.5 million worth of drugs per mission. Mining is also one of the best ways to make money, however, I'm not expert on it and frankly i have no patience either LOL. Another good way to make money - however requires a sizable capital (and some risk) is trading and making the gold runs, you can earn up to 400k depending on the size of your ship per run (buying from a mining facility and selling in a TDD) I know a reset is coming, but would be good practice to try all the ways of money making and be efficient with it to get ready for a fresh start.

I can't stop laughing. You drugged yourself up. Oh please make a part two..😅 You we're at the end of the mission and became incapacitated...😅. I did this mission. I flew in and landed in the middle of the camp. Got on top of my Corsair and picked off every one that shot at me. My ship shields protected me.

I did wonder if you could shoot out of your ship shield and not get hit be people outside the shield. Seems like something they might want to fix. Maybe reduce your outgoing damage? I get it for ship weapons because, in make believe land, you could have them in sync with the shield frequency or something. Anyway. There will be more videos! :)

The 3 ships you taken down in the second mission could have had drugs on them, you can actually take it from the ship with tractor beam and place it in your cargo and then go sell it on a scrap yard... depending on your luck you if they had drugs on them you could end up anywhere between 200k to 5 million worth of illicit goods. to know if they have anything switch to scan mode in your ship with V and then point at a ship and scan, it will give you a manifest of cargo they have. sometimes they don't carry anything but when they do... oh man that's the road to riches :D

Totally liked the track you used for the action sequences! Would´nt mind if you used that more often. Yeah, the missions are very repetitive at the moment. But looks like 4.0 is just 2-3 weeks away. Hopefully it brings the much needed variety! Oh, yes and performace improvements would also be important, so that NPC can have at least a fighting chance. ;-) Since 4.0 will also most likely bring a complete wipe, it´s perhaps not the best point in time to grind reputation anyway. So if bounties start to get old, perhaps rent a prospector and give mining a try. Or have you done that already? Perhaps not the most thrilling game loop, but certainly one of the more fleshed out ones. And can be quite provitable, too. Anyway, keep it up!

I had thought about waiting, but I'm trying to show what it's like to play the game today with any issues included. I guess having your progress wiped from time to time should be something people are aware of. I have high hopes for 4.0. I will take stability over more ships and features lol. I have not tried mining yet! I really want to give it a go. I will have to see how much I need to rent a mining ship and see how good I am at avoiding belters ;)

Amen to stability! This whole project hinges on server meshing working. Lets all hope they can make it happen! As for new ships - I vowed that my wallet shall be closed until the game runs reliably. Praying to Halliday himself to give me the willpower to withstand all the shiny new stuff 😅 Also - phase 3 of save stanton should start today. That should be worth some hours of gameplay, hopefully.

I tired phase 1 on my own.. that did not work out so well lol. I did get on with some others to attempt phase 2 but didn't finish all of the contracts... Maybe I will have better luck with phase 3 :P

Well done! I could not see anything most of the time. Red loot boxes are usually found in the bunker missions. BTW, have you tried to log out in ship yet? I can't and I was wondering if it's disabled.

You should take every gun and store it on your ship that way you always have extra firearms and you just get ammo for them.

Never get out of your ship with the engines running.. Now the LMG you picked up is listed as one of the best guns..Kill people armed or not the unarmed guys will pick up guns and kill you.

@@m1ddleagemadness Yes, it was drifting because you left the engines running, So shut down you engines and raise your shields when you leave your ship. The reason for raising your shields is if another player comes by and decides to blow up your ship it is not so easy if a turret starts shooting for some reason you have a chance to save your ship.

You have to complete a combination of the 2 Save Stanton contracts 6 times in total to get credit for it keep in mind. Best to group up with some buddies and run them together.

Nice one! Ah, the good old 890jump mission. I do it regularly - especially after wipes - just to farm the pirate undersuits. Don´t know why, but I love the ruggedy and shabby style of some of them. If you have a closer look at it, some are totally improvised using duct tape and stuff. I just luv´it! After the mission i just tractor them all into my Corsair, strip them and toss them into space. Sounds rather rude but leaves me with like ten sets of throw away armour which I f.e. use when doing dangerous bounties and such. Although the undersuits are disposable, you can still make a fashion statement, even if it is in this case just a middle finger 🤘😅 About ammo; most often npc have ammo attached to their chest armour, just like your character. I´m pretty sure these clips are not shown in the inventory tab, but are only visible in the loot screen (the red one that you get when you just tab F on a downed body) or physically ingame. I don´t think that you missed very much ammo here, at least I haven´t seen anything obvious. Most of these guys didn´t even have chest armour, so they just didnt have any ammo either. But sometimes it can be usefull to turn a npc with armour around that is lying on its chest to see if they have anything on their body. Also, if you rightclick a stack of ammo in your backpack you can "equip all", which automatically fills up all empty ammo slots on your armour, provided you have enough clips. There is an option in the keybindings to switch your guns to staggered mode. Makes it much easier (imo) to fight small and fast fighters then trying to get them with volley fire. Might be worth a try. Anyway, liking your vids! Keep it up 🤘🏼 ... and yeah - never leave station without multitool. We all learned it the hard way 😅

@@m1ddleagemadness You´re welcome! But now that I watched the vid to the end and safely made it to my lunchbreak, here 1-2 more things I wished I knew ealier when i started playing. Regarding the gun "heating up" - thats more like usin up the energy that is provided to the weapons by the ship. If you watch the vid back you will see that on the Power Management MFD it says "Output 3/12". That means that you have 3 more "energy" to distribute to one of the three systems (weapons left column / engine middle column / shield right column). If you put these three pips (as i think people call them) toward your weapons for example, you will see that amunition amount increases! This works similar for engine and shields. You can do this by holding F and clicking the pips individually, or you can use the very handy keybindings. Tap F5 to increase weapon pip - F6 for engine - F7 for shield - hold each button for 1 sec to max out said component - tap F8 once to reset configuration to standard. Hope that made sense, fiddle around with it abit and see if it helps. :) Also if you tractor something you can hold R and rotate the tractored object by moving mouse or scrolling mousewheel. The Freelancer you tried to open is rather dated and did´nt get its "gold standard" yet. That means no distict button to open the cargo door. Just stand (or hover) in front of the door, find the sweetspot where you get these lightblue outlines and press F. That will open the door. K, lunchbreak almost over - back to the coalmines!

You needed to buy the green fluid, for the med gun by the way.. Couple ways to deal with the problem that you can't fly too. one I like is look for a place you can light speed to, in line with with where you are going, then light speed to it. but as you pass the place you are going drop out of light speed so you don't have to spend hours flying to some places.

Nice job on completing the mission! That's a fun one. With med pens, the reason you couldn't heal fully is due to your injuries, the higher the tier, the lower your overall health pool will be. I'd recommend using the pens only in an emergency, instead carry a med gun the one that uses the green replaceable vials. You can get them from crates or hospital store. To use it on yourself, hit B first. You'll see an animation where your character points it at your arm, just let click and hold until it stops healing you. Less medication effect than medpen as well so you can heal more often. Also, switch to advanced and heal to negate the injuries effects temporarily so you can stay in the fight longer or get to a med bed without hobbling. God bless and have a good one!

The corsair is not missing, you were looking in the ASOP terminal of a small hangar, it will only display ships that fits inside this small hangar. since the corsair is a medium size ship, it will not show up there. you either have to go to the ASOP terminal in the lobby, or go to your medium hangar and call it from there :D

I did see the conversation, but the comment was focused on many instances. I played EvE in the past and I was given in game isk when I started. Looking back it did remove the enjoyment from my early game play. In my opinion it is better to earn your first million the hard way ;)

Actually Got so fed up with the broken Aurora Mr, I spent real cash to upgrade to the avenger Titan. But thanks anyway.. What upset me was I bought the game and the ship didn't work correctly, So I was not able to make money at any speed. spend hours and go no place.

I can see why that would upset you. I'm trying to make sure people know what to expect before buying into the game. Although, SC has got a lot better over the last year for sure. I have spent some real world money upgrading my ship over the years, but for the same reasons as you. The ships I had were broken or limited at the time with the state of the game. I'm hoping I can make in game money now, bringing you all along for the ride, so I can start to buy ships without spending my hard earned cash. Let's see how long it will be before subscriptions becomes mandatory...

Remember that the effective range of the P4-AR is 50m. That's why it took so many shots to take the targets down. The damage is proportional to the distance.

BTW, you have good reflexes and are able to find the targets with relative ease considering how well hidden they are. I couldn't do this. Wrong, we would always like to see what happens no matter how many times it has been done.. always good info for you fellow players like me.. Just like you are learning I am learning. Problem for me is I only have a Aurora fighting others ships is not something you do in an Aurora.. The fight looks like every other fight I have seen with experts.. ships did the same thing.

This is what I like, genuine reactions of a player just enjoying the verse. Nice job buddy o7. I fell in love with this game doing box missions, I think it was 3 weeks before I tried anything new as I just enjoyed being a tourist, now I'm a spacetrucking addict :)

@@m1ddleagemadness you could buy a p6-lr sniper riffle for 5 dollars as they are hard to find. That's why you need to look inside the red boxes, especially in the bunkers. You could then snipe the bad guys from 120m, sometimes even from the protection of your own ship's shields (just don't turn the power off, just the engines).

Space brake is X, At least for me. I'm new too. although having issues I have an Aurora MR starter setup, but Containers will not attach to the cargo rail. So this isn't a lot for me to do.. I tried package delivery today, but could finish as one package fell through my floor. So I stopped for the day real wished I had an Avenger Titan, I would be all set to get this game underway.

Lorville is the main city on Hurston. Tammany and Sons had ammo. Every station has a gun shop.

There should be a place to buy weapons and armor on the space station.. At least the other two space Stations I went to had them. Always make sure you are completely ready to fight check every thing twice.. then head off to do Battle. Everest harbor has weapons and armor on the station.

Hurston Cave, from what I heard it is bad news to go to caves. But I don't know, very new to this game. Played Dayz for 6,000 hours.

You should get another person that would be dropped off by you and you fly back up for call for fire missions to help. Then he does the objective and you just pick him up. This helps with pirates that just wait by your ship to kill you.
