The only "WMMT"-like option to play in my town (though, we also had Wangan Midnight R in one old cinema... which was closed the same or the next weekend after I visited it), there were 3 pair of cabs in different locations, but now only 2 left (and one of them can't save user's profile, which [arcade machine] also disappear in 1.5 years or so), manual shifting is just as in MaxiTune, just with 4 gears only (imagine that you're driving GT2000, SVT or any other 4-gear car in WMMT - same thing). Also, there's a japanese version called Maximum Heat (yea...), where all american cars are replaced with FC3S, SE3P, NC5 and GRB. And it also has some funny camera effects like in Tank!Tank!Tank! or previously mentioned RaceON!

It's cool that the japanese version reflects its region with tis car choices. As for Wangan R, I much enjoy playing that machine however it's a hard game to encounter compared to the WMMT games

I love this game. I spend almost like 15 to 20 bucks to play this game. It's a really cool game, based on the Og Transformers Trilogy with Shia Lebouf, the only good ones. Before they went complete shit with 4, 5 and so on in term of story. Highly recommended for fans of the OG Bayverse Trilogy or TF fans or even someone want to have fun time at the arcade.

Also, do you find any locations with WMMT3/3DX/3DX+ with a working card reader? I have two of my local arcades with WMMT3DX+ with a working card reader. The first one have 4-player VS and new cards available, meanwhile the second one only have 1-player and new cards are not in stock.

I had documented a few back in the day, but I understand some arcade operators dont have the resources and turn them off to reduce future problems popping up on the machines. If a venue is still supplying cards it is likely run by someone who is passionate about the series and is keeping up with the maintenance. Someone like Sebass over at @ Arcade replay stockton on YT.

If you already knew that the card reader isn't functional, you shouldn't have played it (unless you didn't notice), unless you're here JUST for the 10 Outrun mode.

Currently, more 6RR projects will push through in my side with story mode and online ghost battles before 6RR+ comes out then when it comes out, the tuning of the Fairlady Z new brand and the other exclusive cars will be FT'd using a Discarded Vehicle card (likely FT tickets will NOT be carried over to 6RR+ during the transfer next year!)
