I think its kind of a grass-is-always-greener situation. Like I was dying for the S16 mod, got it, and it still hasn't stopped me from shopping every day for an Arri 16S; a camera that I would buy and keep at 4:3 forever.

Know this video is on the older side but I would have recorded the full album on both sides. This way when the tape flips the album starts over. Better overall for the listener.

Worked great on my minolta x300s, I thought I would have to replace the capacitor but it seems this worked wonders! So glad it was easier than I thought. Lifesaver!

Just happened to my X-700, It was very loose when I was trying to load my new film. But It seems like I didn't active the leaver all the way? because I did it farther un till I couldn't and I heard the click. Maybe just dumb luck IDK lol

I’m having the same problem with the advance lever but my camera (chinon cm-4) doesn’t have the little thing at the bottom, any idea how to fix?

The hypothesis is that this test should reveal just how my framing must be compensated for after the modification. But also, everything is flipped. So it looks to me like if I want a horizontally centered subject on film, I should put them about 8 or 9% over to the right of viewfinder center. We'll know for sure after this test roll is complete.

I just bought a K3 and will mod it myself. I am curious if you have tried to slide the ground glass over and remount it or not? I plan on doing a super 16 mod myself, and I'm looking for any tips. Thank you.

@@footballfrequency7979 I will not be trying to move my ground glass. There’s too much fabrication involved for me to try. I am fine just composing frames with the knowledge of where the edges will end up being.
