Memories are made of these songs of Rick. I still sing and dance to his music. I'm 75 and always remember his handsomeness, shy, polite and lovable. None can beat him. Not even Elvis Presley.

Thank you what an amazing compilation I did not realize. I knew 20 Top Ten Hits his music and so much more touching several genres. II know I felt gut punched when Rick died and redeemed when finally recognized by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Blessed. and his tragic death left a hole in music we have been trying to fill since December.

Excellent. It's hard to understand, why this great song by Roy, wasn't released until 1989 Sam. I found it around that time, on a Cassette tape, in the library, It had some other great songs by Roy I hadn't heard. At some point I uploaded this song and some others from that Cassette, which I now have on digital.

Mickey Gilley was such a chad. No seriously, the dude was a total pimp. He put out great music, he had his own nightclub which was featured in a major motion picture he also had a small role in, what more could a guy ask for?

Fun times dancing to the old 45(s) from the record player in the School Cafeteria on the last Friday of the month at .25 Cents to get in girls went in free of course they sold sodas. The girls flirting with those beautiful smiles. Simple but a lot of fun and yes there is were you ask your favorite girl to be your steady and had the ring so she could hang it in a chain around her beautiful neck I remember the ring I used cost me $5.00 no car we walked home after the dance. It seems like yesterday but it's been 60 years how time flies!!!!
