Definitely. I also played it a little bit after I streamed this and it got very tedious. I don't know if it is just me and timeline games or if it is the game itself. That Phantom Brigade game also became very tedious to me as well.

I haven't played it recently, but they have been doing regular updates and last time I played it they added a pretty simple quest system. They really need a demo!

I have had my eye on this title for a while. Until they make it "idiot proof" with a very good explanation on how everything works and why. I am not buying it. As for there are too many guys in combat nah, More the merrier. Also, there are too many aliens in each fight for a smaller amount of soldiers to be on the field. If anything you should be able to have even more soldiers. Fix the lack of explaining anything and that will fix 99% of the issues with the game.

Your aversion to Tarkov is well founded. Regular Tarkov has been ruined by cheaters and poor game development but if you own it you can download and play SPT or "Single Player Tarkov", a community project separate from the tarkov devs, which is modable and amazing because of the community behind it.

Their is a Throttle, you use your mouse wheel to adjust your speed. Its certainly a Fun little game, certainly worth the price (10-11 bucks) for a few hours of fun. I want to say the Combat transition is being WIERD cus your paused when you do it? (thus they are frozen in time till you hit Play) But I wouldn't know.

I agree, it is stellar! I would guess it isn't dominating because it isn't on Steam. We have grown so use to Steam that now it is a huge detriment to a game not to be one there.

Hah Lord Haywire was a phone phreak eh? Phone phreaking felt like being a cowboy in modern times almost.. Still have my old tone generator for free payphone calls. I Started by just jamming a paperclip into the payphone receiver and short it out on the case which usually gave you free calls. Found a few BBS's for property maintenance companies that used them for making work orders and we would make all kinds of crazy prank service requests. Good times.

That is a hard choice. I think all three of them are really well made. I don't like Stoneshard as much as I like the other two because of how slow leveling is in Stoneshard, but I still can see how good it is! Soulash 2 and Doors of Trithius are both really good. If I had to buy one only, I would just see which one is on sale and buy that one. Maybe Doors of Trithius would go a little higher on the list then Soulash 2 just because it has been around for longer, but the Soulash 2 developer is doing updates like crazy.

Bro, I have shelves full of Avalon Hill, Multiman Publishing and GMT. Still Do!!! Do you still Wargame? Avalon Digital has nothing to do with AH, who is still owner by Hasbro. I use Web pages all day. But Most web sites have apps. they all use the exact same game system with minor mods for each title. There is some really good stuff coming out these days, production quality is great. Rule books can still get pretty think on the most difficult games. But there are plenty of games with less than 10 pages of rules that are plenty complex.

Awesome game! One thing I found weird about it though is: Why the King and his wife sleep on different beds? I mean shouldn't there be a house with a bed for both? To be fair it is Early Acess.

I feel like a lot of colony games do that. Its probably easier to figure out what needs they have if they have their own space. It also used to be a thing that couples didn't sleep in the same room, but I doubt that is why Norland is like that. Norland was a bunch of little weird programming decisions. I think it will be a lot different in a year!

Hello, Thanks for playing the game. Your video is actually the first video after the 2.0 beta haha. I've fixed a bit after watching your video. Now scrolls show proper information on tooltip and weapon tooltip shows attack range. Also you can turn the `long press` off in the settings menu. Thank you for the video again.

@@빵빵빵-m1o Some games when set to borderless windowed mode it doesn’t act like it is borderless windowed mode. I did some testing once, I think with Red Dead Redemption 2, and it seems to be related to HDR on my monitors. I have HDR turned off in Windows so that it happens less, but it still happens sometimes. When set to borderless windowed mode I sometimes have to alt-tab to get out of the game, and when I click on my monitor that doesn’t have the game on it both monitors go black for about 3 seconds and act like they are readjusting their resolution. Sometimes when it does that it bounces all my other windows around between the two monitors, so then I have to move them back to where I like them. It isn’t a huge deal, I just like to whine about it.

I just remembered with Crawl Tactics it did what I was saying in the other reply, but it also moved all my windows on my other monitor half off of the monitor and if I tried to click on them all the monitors would turn off again. Thanks to the lack of information on this game I've gotten a massive amount of information from this playthrough, I'd love for you to do some more tutorial style videos on this game with tips on strategy and early game along with load outs and tactics. Might go back to play ultimate space commando (usc) before I dive back into this beast, but I did write it a wonderful review.

@lordhaywire ive actually been having decent fun with usc. It's 4 man squads but still missions vs 35 aliens. I'm finally finishing missions with all 4 units. I'll be giving usc: counterforce another go soon enough. Looking forward to the next stream I hope you post some of it to youtube.

One of my fave squad turn based tactical games, that I have not really played much yet because I was waiting for the full release! This Is basically what Space Hulk Tactics wanted to be. Very passionate dev team too, which Is why I bought It some time ago. Very happy to see you playing It, and I am just gonna Install It now so I can enjoy this title too.
