What cards can I use as a replacement for the official cards?

Greetings, I recently got a PGM1 knights of valour 2 104 cart that has sounds that are all over the place, killing an enemy uses the baby cry sound from the game for example. Do you know what might cause sounds to be pulled from the wrong areas in a game?

I paid a substantial amount for a working one. Someone is selling broken ones as working out there so there is that.

I have the rev12 and removed the resistor (it had a battery holder in place already) but i now get random errors on booting or if i do a hardware test it just reboots 😢

Thanks you for creating this PGM community. Otherwise it's so difficult to find any info on it. I love this system since i first played it on MAME years and years ago. Now i can finally own the real thing 🙂

Unfortunately, there's almost nothing left in Chinese stores, only the 1st revisions and often in rough shape. Bottom of the barrel. I have only myself to blame - already for 2-3 years I've been postponing and delaying getting into PGM. Back then there was a gazillion of boards, they were dirt cheap and the games, ah the games...even the most expensive titles were available and quite affordable. Now they are reaching MVS prices. What a fool i was.

@gc8tech , I am getting an "ILLEGAL INSTRUCTION" error on my PGM. Any ideas? Happens with or without cartridge

Hey there GC8TECH. Thanks for all your awesome work on these PGM boards. Amazing system. I have one here that which gives me erratic error screens. Sometimes it would say "ILLEGAL INSTRUCTION" big on top of screen and a bunch of addresses below it, and sometimes an "ADDRESS ERROR". Any ideas? Ive reflowed the SRAM chips for the z80 and also cleaned the whole system. There are no traces damaged as this board would run fine for sometimes 5 ins, 10 mins, but sometimes would freeze after the first IGS PGM Bios animation screen. Thanks

Any release date for this? I have a pile of defective pgm pcb's, would be great to have this 😅

Any update on this? I really want to get a PGM but its so cost prohibitive since I cant get a demon front cart under $300 😢 I wish china would make a multi cart or repros or some kind of alternative for physical carts

Im looking to make a 3d printed case for a PGM. What type of power supply is needed for the guts of a basic supergun with rgbs? I keep reading people using an atx power supply from a PC because of a -5v being needed but when I consolized my neo geo mvs I did a simple 5v stereo mod and only needed a small 5v 3a plug in power supply adapter if I remember right. Just trying to wrap my head around the parts needed before ordering anything and its hard to find any info on the pgm

On revision 133-5, do you need to remove the resistor and D2? Or just one resistor?

silly question in regards to buying aracde pcb boards from USA they don't design them voltage wise specific to any particular country correct? being Australian we always want to set our arcade power supply's to 240v . so all arcade games are universally 5 volts? so at the end when you say the cabinet has had a conversion to 110v that would just be the monitor tube and chassis your refering to ?

The first ATX board I had was the TX97 from Asus for a Pentium MMX CPU :-) Question: I have a Golden Axe board that only starts 1/3 of the times... The seller says I need to make sure the voltage is correct... any suggestions? I'm using a supergun on an ATX psu... The voltage reads 12.4 - is this too much? thanx

I have checked out your website and have a few questions. Do your DDP DOJ carts contain only the black label version? Or do they include both black and white like the PCB? Also can the ROMs be swapped out on the Ketsui cart? I believe there are some different arrange version ROMs out there. Just curious. And lastly do you provide replacement labels for PGM carts? I need one for Demon Front. Thanks and keep up the good work!
