Hello, do you know if they have paved this section or is it still bad?
@RobertRijnders11 ай бұрын
Highly unlikely that they paved it, but I can’t tell for sure.

Hello sir how did you record the map on upper right while riding? Thank you
@RobertRijnders Жыл бұрын
With Telemetry Overlay software. That uses the data from the GPX file in the SD card and adds gauges.

I saw 70 kph. Surprised you didn't hit 80 with all of the double digit down grades. You need to carry some rocks in your pockets. 😉
@RobertRijnders2 жыл бұрын
Wind, unfamiliar terrain and that grade gauge actually is useless. It’s like what Garmin records, usually not very precise.

como se consigue este información de video
@RobertRijnders2 жыл бұрын
Sorry, I missed this. It was made with Telemetry Overlay software. The problem with GPS data in many recording devices, including GoPro, is that the info is there, but it is not visible in the respective company's software. Crazy for expensive devices like this, but it is what it is. BTW, I have also created a similar video with the free Garmin Virb software once, but that is no longer officially available.

Glad you enjoyed it, brother. It was the final descend of a long day in the saddle, but what a rush. I did it a few days earlier (Stage 6 or 7) but it was later in the day and a bit more quiet this time.

Thanks, brother. It's not so much different here and I have left all "social" networks, including Twitter. That basically was because they suspended me without reason, a decision that was revised like 6 weeks later, after my appeals and demanding an explanation fell on deaf ears. When they revised it, I shut down the account. I will never, ever get back to any of them. Trust me, it's better for your (mental) health.

Wow brother you nearly got hit by a motorbike here they are not allowed on a path like that I don't think
@RobertRijnders3 жыл бұрын
It's not a motorbike, but what we call a scooter. There are 2 categories: below 25 kph, which are allowed on bicycle paths, driving doesn't require a helmet and above 25, which are not allowed on a bicycle path and require a helmet while driving. Problem is, most of these "bicycle allowed" scooters, have been modified to go way faster, up to over 50, 60 kph - the morons riding them, are still not wearing a helmet and are a (general) menace to cyclists. When caught by police, which is too seldom, the scooter is confiscated and they are fined a big amount. I hate the f*ckers...

@@RobertRijnders here in Texas most think your weak for riding a bike or to even take public transit lol the sad truth about my people we are way to proud but I will say when we go ride on bike trails the people who are there riding are most likely very responsible and so fair not much of the modified scooters. But I'm shore it's a big problem in the city's I just stay up here in the sticks with the pony's lol

Cobblestones are horrible to ride, more so when it’s raining. I rode Paris - Roubaix once and my arms were hurting for a week after finishing. You have to try and let the bike find the flow, but your instinct is to grab and hold tight...
