Wow!!!! This band did a great job covering this song. Somehow i ended up with a Get Nervous cassette when i was a teenager. I wasn't a real fan of Pat Benatar. But i actually liked 3 or 4 songs on this record. Fight It Out was my favorite....and the guitar solo has such a bold attitude. Its still my favorite guitar solo to date. Back in the 80s yiu could cover a cool album cut or a b-side and people would still know it. Miss those days

Thank you @SlapBak! Fun song, the intro was kinda tricky with timing if I recall. Some fun songs in the early 80s. Some not so fun too, but that was our job to play stuff from the radio. Have a great day and thanks for taking a listen!

Thanks so much, these are just great. Covid obviously had an effect, stopping these jams for a good while, and unfortunately I didn't make one earlier last year. Hoping for another event this year. I am not actually playing here, just taking the video. I do play, but some of these guys are intimidating with respect to their skills! I am going to be brave and play next time.

Oh my, this sounds almost identical to the original recording. Can't recall the last time I've seen a cover band as tight as this. Solid rhythm work from both the bassist and chilled out drummer just jamming out, wizard like keyboardist who can sing just as well as the bassist and female rhythm guitarist/vocalist! Lead player is awesome too, looks anf sounds like Pete Townshend. Thank you for posting this, really cool to see cover bands from decades ago!

There must be some interesting story of why this video took 5 months to complete post, although I don't know what it is. Thanks to the dark lighting, I also don't know which boys are even in it besides Jeff Shoemaker and Steve Bunton. (It's not like Martha Quinn and Todd Rundgren told us.) Steve Lavoie I guess. The bassist? Jeff Keen? Ron Gilbert? Apparently, everyone up and quit the band to avoid having to sign 5000 copies of the 12" single.

Well, Well. If there is a story I’d love to hear it. The only thing in this video that’s me is some of the guitar bits. Jeff Keen was gone before me. So had to be Ron. Who are you, Lone Wolf?

I'm the "MTV Basement Tapes" guy. Well, OK, not really -- that was Brian Diamond and Bruce Gillmer. But as far as having as nothing to do with the show, or the band, I guess you could say I was its most devoted fan. I mean, who else but me would know that Sharks thought it was impressive that they beat a video that 1) had a bunch of Chryslers in it because of one of the band member's connections to Lee Iacocca, and 2) MTV stuck in the dump slot (position #3 in the middle segment). Because cars are the first thing that shallow, screaming teenage girls pick up the phone and vote for, ya know...
